These are the names I've seen around the place. Who would you prefer? I don't think there's any chance of Alan. I'm still keen on him, even though he has no experience. He'll bring stability, which is what we so urgently need. But I don't think we'll be getting him, so I've voted for someone out of the rest that I think would be best. At least if it is Shearer he will have worked closely with the squad so will know who is available (plus he was touted as having written up a list of targets).
