Read the other day that alcohol can improve output in terms of creativity - currently sitting working away with a pint of Moretti.

So far haven't written a thing.

Going to the Bacchus tonight, so ale will be consumed.

Anyone been in there recently?

Went in a few months ago. Jaw basically dropped at their range of beers. The Belgian section alone would take you many visits and a spare liver or two to explore thoroughly.

Aye it is fantastic. The Belgian bottled beers can be a bit pricey like. There's usually a cracking range of IPAs on sale.

They have this on tap currently, it's a fine ale.

I finished the night, Cath, with a Doublewood Balvenie.

It's a fine, smooth, mature example of great craftsmanship.

Much like me. :naughty:

Less social club flirting, Fist, more answering questions. How much did that set you back? The tasteful picture got my happy bits tingling.

Pint of that and a half of Peroni for the Lady was £ 6.05.

Bargain, considering the pint was 6.0ABV loopy juice.
