Passed my test (at the first attempt by the way :dancing: ) last week. Should really have done it fucking ages ago, but nevermind.

Now starts the hunt for a car. Thankfully a couple of my mates know thier stuff so I'm in good comapny when I actually have some money to go and buy one like.

Congratulations :jester:

i had one of those c-max things as a courtesy car - absolutely fucking awful.

horrible, horrible shitbox.

Really? What did you have?

Admittedly, mine doesnt drive as nice as the BMW but I wouldnt say it was awful. It drives surprisingly well considering its size imo and still manages to drive like a car.

The 1.6 petrol is apparently woefully underpowered, as is the 90bhp 1.6 diesel (I made sure I got the 110bhp version) so if you had either of those - then I can understand your comments.

Performance aside, what I really like about it is the practicality for kids. In hindsight, I'd have gone for the 2.0 and paid the extra tax (£150 over £90 for mine).
