He has turned this club around financially, and as soon as we start operating in the black Im have no doubt we will start to see some signs of building on what we have. What we have to do is to publicly acknowledge the good he has done. Unfortunately for the more insular and biggotted NUFC fans, I suspect that will be a bridge too far. Personally I say forgive and forget, I would love to think that he felt able to go down the Bigg Market for a pint with the fans, and to be accepted as one of the lads without being subjected to unwarranted abuse. What part of Llambias being managing director with a board that makes the decisions do people not get? Its Llambias who runs the club and makes the decisions on hiring and firing. Granted he will keep the Ashley informed and provide sound business reasons for that decision, but get real people this has nothing to do with Ashley, if it did he is wasting a wacking great wedge of money paying Llambias to do nowt, while he makes the hard decisions. It was shortly after Allardyces's departure, in one of his few offerings to the press [and supporters] Ashley put forward his intention that he would be alot more hands-on in the day-to-day running of the club.
