One things for certain, we cannot miss any chances in the field.

I think the forecast suggests it’ll be ok tomorrow although the start might be delayed. I think they can play until either 7 or 7.30 to due to the time lost yesterday. I still think the declaration was daft and I would even if England win.

The decision to play Bairstow as wicketkeeper continues to look great

the game is beautifully poised. I have us as ever so slight favourites now. Should be a gripping session or two

I think the runs given away by the missed catches and stumpings may be looming large now

Doesn't look like there'll be a load of cricket played today. Enough time (and the conditions) for Australia to lose, but probably not enough time for them to win seems to be the prevailing view.

Which is nice.

Be good if it's overcast all day 🙂

if i'm an aussie batter now, you're surely not fancying coming out to bat in what looks like the most bowler-friendly conditions of the game so far, once it stops raining

As long as they need the floodlights when they start

Someone pointed out it was really overcast / poor light when Crawley and Duckett got out in the second innings. So this then means the light meter reading will have to be at least slightly worse than that for them to come off for bad light. So that’s another potential bonus for England

Bolland hanging around in that annoying way night watchmen can

It's all rather too comfortable for batting (still), need heavy cloud and the lights on.

Aussies being steered home in a canter by the bloke (will be MoM) who edged, but Bairstow never even went for it, before he'd scored.

Needed that wicket. It’s going to go to the wire. It won’t be easy with Moeen’s finger blister and Stokes seemingly unwilling to

bowl.
