Common sense says you’re right Gemmill. Common sense goes out the window with derby defeats though. I genuinely think he’s lost some support among the fanbase and given our completely haphazard season so far it’s going to be tricky to get the back. A lot now depends on the Wissa/Murphy axis and makeshift fullbacks…

That section of our fanbase sounds like the dopey mackems that want the manager gone as soon as they lose against us. We're in the semi final of the cup and hopefully about to get into the knockout stage of the CL. If that's not enough to appease these clowns, they can all fuck off.

Anyway, it's not them that'll make the decision about his future, but it's genuinely embarrassing that these people exist. He's the most successful manager of any of our lifetimes. This lot would want Keegan gone at the first sign of a bad spell too.

Look at Spurs and Pochettino. He got them to the champions league final and they still turned on him because of many football supporters' bizarre habit of gaining a massive and misplaced sense of entitlement in less time than it takes to boil a kettle. Last night we equalled the all-time record for most consecutive League Cup wins in regulation time - nine consecutive wins. The last team to do it was Liverpool back in the 94/95 season.

The idea that this bloke's job is under threat can just get fucked.

Get with the program man! Don't you know he's dead man walking 🙄
