Really top man who played nearly 300 games as well as managing in a difficult time when we were selling our best players. He was the manager when i first started going to games and i sent my home shirt to the club to ask if any players could sign it? Got a lovely letter back from Willie along with the shirt signed by the whole fucking squad ! Dont think that would happen these days. Anyway, an absolute disgrace that there was no minutes silence before the game yesterday for him, a club legend as a goal keeper who played in the Fairs cup winning team and managed the club too.
