My little sister's friend's parents are. She's not allowed to do much at all and she's not old enough to argue or just do stuff of her own accord. Feel sorry for her, to be honest.

A good mate of mine is - both him and his family are into it but i'm not so sure he's really that arsed.

he's just a regular lad and recently settled doon with a lass.

Loves his beer and loves his curry.

Aren't they luddites? Probably not overly fond of the internet, "If God had wanted us to go on t'internet he'd have given us USB ports" etc.

Though they do have a website...

I used to work with one. He used to get irate at the fact I said I was agnostic - used to be able to wind him up a treat for hours on end.

And he was a ginger!!

We had a lad at school who was one. He wouldn't swear no matter how much I tried to goad him into it.

Double helpings of hell for you.

They're the right ones according to SouthPark.

Thats the mormons. "The correct answer was the mormons"

Theres a JH assembly hall near me actually which is attended by some frustratingly attractive young female parishoners. :D

When I was in the last year at Uni, there was a 'Kingdom Hall' just round the corner from our house. Jesus wept you've never seen security like it - wrought iron gates which wouldn't have looked out of place in Fort Knox and solid iron (not shutters or bars) plates covering the windows!

What's that? Jehovah's Witness and Mormons are one and the same? Ohhhh.

Around PA is Amish country and they'd all be milling around the airport having just got off a plane. It makes no sense! Horses & carts over cars, but if we really need to get somewhere we'll take a MASSIVE PLANE.

And it could not have come from a higher authority.

Almost like Jesus himself.

Next-door neighbours when I was growing up were Jehovah's Witnesses. Their kids accidentally knocked over our Christmas tree one year when we were messing around and their mum gave the poor buggers a right leathering because she was so worried we'd think they were trying to defile our Christian traditions. <_<

When I was in the first year of Uni, the halls were a group of houses which were almost like a village in its own right.

The fuckers decided to do a door-to-door procession asking us whether we were interested in their literature. When they got to our house they asked the same question and quick as a flash my housemate grabbed his copy of Escort and said "no, are you interested in ours?"

They soon left, not without pointing out we'd burn in 'eternal damnation' before they left <_<

I assume you didn't actually burn in eternal damnation before they left then. :)

Go to admit, I don't mind them too much. Always been polite and easy to get rid of, I guess they just have to be seen to be trying (to spread the word) in the eyes of their God.
