The funny thing is, a few of the people you're arguing with (me included) over Souness were those asking for calm last season and during the summer and to give Souness time. We've got rid of too many players without bringing anywhere near enough in, and we're somehow playing worse. Parker was the only new signing involved in the last two games, that's down to Shephard and Souness between them, and it doesn't really bode well when we've got less than a week to add to that. He asked Shearer to stay on yet he plays a system (no wingers) that means he's neither use nor ornament up there.
