I imagine that the WA will be signed with the backstop in place as is and a vague description of our future trading agreement. The PM will again state that the backstop will never actually be needed. What happens when this comes back to parliament is anyone's guess. My money would be on a second referendum.

Caught a bit of the One Show last night. They were asking people in Nuneaton what they thought of Boris Johnson. One bloke said he (i.e. the bloke being asked the question) was right wing so he liked him but he didn't know much about his policies but he did like that thing he said recently about the burqa. That's the mentality you're dealing with arguing against Brexit, Tory austerity, CT, etc.

On the back of the way the team has performed and the results as opposed to a knee jerk reaction every time a goal is scored by a former player. You were either bringing it up when no one was defending him, which is odd, or suggesting Benitez has been proven wrong irrespective of the actual results / performances last season and this just because a former player is scoring for someone else, which makes even less sense

You’re working under the assumption that Rafa swapped Mitro for what he currently has. He didn’t. Like the rest of us he assumed that he could re-invest the transfer fee in a replacement. He wasn’t allowed to.

This is the thing. The Brexiters have no answers at all. None. They've had over two years to come up with a plan and all they can muster is 'will of the people' and 'believe in Britain'. How any member of the public can support this nonsense and how any MP can continue to back a no deal Brexit is beyond me. It really is a low point in our political history.
