As I see it the problem is probably less the asking price but the details of the sale. Every buyer does know what amount of money Ashley does want. I can’t see serious multimillionaires appointing legal consultants walking into discussions with empty pockets knowing they won’t be able to do a deal still having to find the money. With BZG the asking price was agreed as the club confirmed itself. Staveley according to Bird or Caulkin (can’t remember who) had actually tabled offers. Deals fell through because of other reasons. With Staveley it was that Ashley suddenly changed his tune accusing the buyer of lack of action saying or pretending a lack of an offer. Imho most telling was Ashley’s narrative in his summer interview with the billionaire Sheikh haggling over a fee of 10m and therefore contradicting the press statement confirming the agreement of a price. Adding to this that we know from the sale of Rangers how reluctant Ashley is with losing commercial rights and income I have no reason to doubt that the lack of sale is solely down to the cunt of a greedy owner. Ashley will only sell if he is forced to or the offer is insanely obscene.5 points

All of those polls apart from one have don't knows who cover the difference margin - Banks and the rest would wet their lips at that. As for leading the campaign, someone who could articulate the benefits rather than just negging the other side would be a start.2 points

little ole will see this as the perfect opportunity to 'kickstart their season' we'll duly oblige. ashley will put in a rare appearance as he'll be keen to ready the paperwok for longstaff's 'last minute' move to the north west in january. bruce meanwhile, his head being fully occupied with his tactical masterplan for the game, will forget who he's employed by and refer to the club from manchester as 'we' and 'united' throughtout the prematch press conference. should be a joy this.2 points

Hi, is it true that you have you been hanging out on the secret forum with Manc Mag, Lake Bell’s tits, sweet left peg and Kevin all this time?1 point

It's the old "Let's show the nice man who might buy the club a nice full ground" routine. He's tried it a couple of times before (Stavely & the BZG group). People are boycotting SJP & its becoming noticeable on the TV now. This is his way of trying to entice people back into the ground.1 point

I can't remember if I articulated a view one way or the other about what I thought would happen about Brexit, but I do recall at least feeling that Remain would win, and being surprised that it didn't. However, that was a watershed moment for me - after that I recall being fairly certain that Trump would do better than people thought, if not win. With Brexit though, you could see the polls narrowing in the days before, and there was a real sense that it could go horribly wrong. The same might happen this time, but the unicorns don't exist anymore. Brexit can't be all things to all people anymore, it's going to be a very fixed thing only. Which is in part where my confidence comes from.1 point

Let's look at it this way - even if you're right, we have nothing to lose. So there should be nothing to fear.1 point

It's designed to piss off the EU. It doesn't even attempt to address their concerns. What is more enraging is that it completely throws Northern Ireland under the bus. With the NI specific backstop we'd have had the best of both world's, access to the EU market and access to GB. This plan would curtail our access to both of those markets. It's a steaming pile of shit.1 point

She’s pure evil. Johnson will do whatever benefits him personally, The Saj is just happy to be where he’s at, Raab is oblivious to everything going on but Patel actually enjoys inflicting pain on other people. If she were to be compared to a historical figure it would be Amon Goth. If her immigration rules were in place in the sixties then she wouldn’t be here. A textbook case of second generation immigrant who wants to pull the drawbridge up behind her. There used to be a time when conspiring with a foreign government would see you barred from any form of public office. These days it appears to be a desirable qualification for high office. She’s an absolute, unmitigated cunt. Still would though.1 point

I've done my best to avoid watching games and most of the time im just looking at the end result so I havnt seen much of the shit show on the pitch this season but its about what I expected. I've seen people pointing to 'Rafa had this bad of a start last year' which is an aids infested shit stained comfort blanket to put it politely because Rafa had the ability to turn that around.. if people fail to see the difference between Bruce and Rafa when it comes to digging a side out of deep trouble like that then theres nothing I can tell them that will change their mind. To put this whole situation simply and in my opinion - Rafa was trying to build a house here, but it was built on a base of Ashley supplied quicksand and anytime he made good progress the house would disappear again and again.. all Rafa wanted was to be allowed to build the way he saw fit on a solid base but that was to much to ask. Rafa had the fans watching him build and they all believed he was the man to do it but as quickly as Ashley and the extraterrestrial looking thumb man ruined what Rafa was building they also did so by pissing in the fans mouths. - Bruce is trying to build a sandcastle on the same Ashley supplied quicksand but Bruces bucket has a hole in it and his spade has been melted from him using it to eat dodgy curries over the past 10 years of his career. He does have a couple of nice shiney new buckets as well (Joelinton, ASM ect) however what good are nice new buckets when the fat useless cunt wielding the melted shovel is not even sure which way up the bucket should go, again - hes a fat useless cunt and he wont be able to turn this aroumd. Yes its Tuesday and yes im pissed and yes its not even 5 o'clock yet and yes im sick of football and yes when I was 9 years old Manchester was 80 miles one way and Newcastle was 80 miles the other way and yes I want to punch the fucker in the face who put me on to Newcastle1 point

I sometimes wonder what opposition fans think when they come on here - presumably they come on expecting to see bravado ahead of games or whatever, and are then bemused to find a group of football nihilists who actively want their club to be relegated and to stay relegated, barely paying any attention to their opponents or the wider footballing world1 point
