  1. The club's strategy, for the moment, does not seem to be giving too many clues to the press. The players that we have signed that have been more expensive have hardly been mentioned or it seemed that they were going to another team. Isak and Tonali arrived overnight when there were no rumors for them. Botman (Milan) and Bruno (Arsenal) did make a lot of noise, but because it seemed like there was a war that we had lost. Those who have really sounded the most have been guys like Diego Carlos, Maddison or Paquetá, and they never came. The Trippier, Pope or Burn thing was also sudden and almost without knowing. Gordon never made a sound either and when it seemed like he was going to Chelsea or Tottenham, suddenly we made it official. If Szoboszlai doesn't end up coming, he doesn't worry me, although he seemed like a good player to me. Surely the club has other ideas that have not yet come to the press. And if the level of Almirón or Murphy is the same as last season and Gordon and Saint Maximin can really contribute more than last year (something easy to do), it would not seem like a drama to me not to sign anyone.

  2. in the last couple of days I've spent an absolute fucking fortune on 10 litres of oil for the sprinter, 6 litres of oil for the connect, 1 litre of transmission oil for me little mtx125 along with a litre of 2 stroke oil for the same bike. and these cunts can't even be arsed to sign a hungarian kid. pathetic really.

  3. We're 25% through the transfer window. Yonks before the league kicks off even. I never used to bother with these transfer threads, cos I know fuck all and anyway, Ashley. Thought I'd pop me head in this time. Is it always like this?

  5. Honestly, I'm bummed that it looks like we're not getting Szoboszlai. He's a really exciting player. BUT, I have to remind myself that we're 3-5yrs ahead of schedule and Szoboszlai is the kind of player who moves to an elite club. We're not there yet. Patience and zen my friends, patience and zen.

  6. bit annoying that the two AMs we’ve allegedly been chasing might opt for rival PL clubs who can’t offer champions league football

  8. I am not fussed. Many of us having seen only little of him, including myself although I could have watched him a lot more than you. He was very good for Hungary when they played Germany most recently and had some very good performances for the club as I can gather. He is certainly talented but there are definitely other players who are as good as him or even better. It will be interesting how much Liverpool will actually pay for him.

  9. I have it on good authority that we are only going to sign players that Adam P can pronounce. Tonali was just at the limit of that so we are going to be looking at players like Eze going forward

  12. I’m sure he doesn’t have a job, but if he does I hope he quits it when he figures out they employ people that support Newcastle. I fully support his stance tbh, that list of boycotted stores should include every major retailer and supermarket since they all have Newcastle fan customers and staff! What a fucking knacker.

  14. It’s one’s like this that make me laugh . 2 year ago we struggled and failed to get Hamza Choudry on loan and now whinging we didn’t buy Tonali and Szoboszlai, fucking hell man we have no idea if we were even actually in for Szoboszlai same as we all had no fucking clue there was any possibility of signing Tonali. We clearly need more players but I feel some of our fans haven’t grasped just how massive a signing Sandro Tonali is for us, he was an integral part of a Scudetto winning side and people complain because we aren’t signing a Hungarian they’d only started hearing about this season. FWIW I’m disappointed as I was excited at the possibilities of both Maddison and Szoboszlai playing for us, but that’s what’s fucking class about all this we’re linked to these types of players and it’s possible, I’m confident we will sign what we need.

  16. What’s happened to the 29 year old double barrelled muthafucker you were desperate for us to sign until you looked on Twitter one day and saw we were linked with a different unpronounceable surname cunt who could equally be the second coming of Zidane or maybe just shite? People need to let go of what they can’t control. Chill. Smoke some. It might be great and it might be gruel. It’s life Dave 🤷🏻‍♂️

  17. I remember the club missing a trick in January. By not paying over the odds then it meant we missed out on CL qualification Also, the owners want shooting for not having all transfer business completed before the end of June

  18. Not really. If England were more competitive it would keep Gloomy from fucking things up in the transfer thread.

  19. I don't like Pau Torres at all. It seems to me a very soft central. He is good with the ball at his feet to make first passes and come out with the ball played, but I think it will be very difficult for him to adapt to the level of the Premier League.

  20. Given his username, he’s going to be devastated when he finds out; 1- Greggs is a Newcastle company, with NUFC fans as employees. 2- The founder’s son is a nonce. Poor cunt might well starve to death.

  24. He is a pure right winger. Very fast. But it is very irregular. We can say that it is a small version of ASM on the other band. In recent months I have been talking with a person in charge of the Villarreal sports management with whom I have become friends and she has confirmed that for them she is the best pearl of their academy. This year has been his best year. And for example, he himself destroyed Real Madrid. I think he could have a good impact in the Premier.

  25. The fans having a meltdown on Twitter must hardly have followed the club's strategy since the takeover. Its clear the objective is to be at the top one day but also that it will take time. We don't engage in bidding wars or entertain silly demands from selling clubs. It's a methodical, well planned approach and it has worked wonders for us so far. Lingaard, Ekitike, Diego Carlos, Digne, Paqueta a few that I can remember we all wanted to sign but we found better alternatives in the end. I am a bit concerned because I feel we need at least another 3 in addition to Tonali to have a good chance of retaining our CL spot, but I think the club will get them and they'll only be ones that come on our terms.

  27. A new name to add to the list. Samuel Chukwueze, a Nigerian winger who plays for Villarreal. Supposedly AC Milan are leading the race but are haggling over the price of 25-30m euros. He could be a decent option on the right for us. He's supposedly ridiculously fast. Milan fans are going to be burning effigies of the club if we gazump them on this lad as well. https://www.geordiebootboys.com/transfers/newcastle-now-monitoring-amazing-25m-winger-who-is-absolutely-rapid-journalist/

  37. Agreed, always happy for us to sign good players if the opportunity arises but we have more pressing positions. First team right winger First team left back Right sided centre back to eventually replace Schar Tifo did us on their "Sensible transfers" show the other day which is usually a good watch but for some reason they suggested replacing Schar with some guy from Southampton who can't pass.
