Still makes me smile that; Longstaff Anderson Burn Murphy Hall Dummett Miley Gillespie all grew up supporting the club, and are playing their part in our current success7 points

Each to their own, but on the day Queen Cunt says being discriminated for being gay or female isn’t enough reason to claim asylum, why are we dissecting Starmer’s weaknesses? These cunts are in power, now, and are destroying everything decent that we’ve ever stood for. Starmer is a bit grey, but ffs, he’s not a monster. Until we get PR, it’s a two-horse race, with the Lib Dem’s sucking off whoever promises them a bigger bag of sweets. The pressing issue right now, imo, is not what Labour might or might not promise to do in order to win back the red wall Tory cunts, it’s getting these fucking animals out of power asap. Deal with the replacement’s weaknesses afterwards. Rant over, as you were.3 points

agreed. feel sorry for him as he hasn't really got going yet, but we've got Gordon, Isak, Joelinton (when fit again) Murphy and Anderson who can all play wide left. Possibly even Lewis Hall and Almiron too3 points

If we’re being ultra critical his touch under pressure is probably the weakest of all our central midfielders but he’s unique in terms of the stuff he does off the ball. Great sides always have those unglamorous players who allow the peacock players to strut. There’s only Joelinton who compares really. It’s going to be interesting to see what our first choice midfield is when everyone’s fit. Joe Willock was looking like an England midfielder last season, some of his assists and the way he glides up field with the ball, carrying it 20-30 yards at pace. Shame about his injury problems. All he needed to add to his game were goals and he is surely in the mix for a future England squad. Then there’s big Joe, who surely has to start when he’s fit but is maybe better suited to left wing with Gordon on the right. I’m not sure Tonali gets in ahead of longstaff when everyone’s fit. Or if he does, maybe Tonali starts at number six. It looked like he played the deeper role yesterday to free up Bruno to bomb on. It’s a good problem to have, as they say.3 points

Aye in his first interview he came out with some "rolling our sleeves up" shite I seem to remember and that mackem in Milan thing was equally as cringewirthy2 points

nah. you spend every minute of your waking life refreshing the stadium plan and hoping a ticket pops up somewhere. you'll refresh it that many times you'll eventually be kicked off the website for being a robot. you go through the whole procedure again the next day. a sporadic ticket will pop up and then you'll have a milli second to get it in your basket before one of the other hundreds and hundreds of desperate cunts attempting the same thing beats you to it. it's great fun.2 points

Nowt for PSG here and not to play a SOOPAFAN card but seeing knackers on social media saying “OMG, this is my first game and it’s the Champions League 😍😍” is fucking winding me up something rotten tbh. I had to watch Jeff Hendrick to get here2 points

Well his attributes were there to see clearly in his short Everton days. It's no surprise Eddie pushed for him and Chelsea etc wanted him too. Wingers that are direct and can take on and get past people are rare these days (see Antony ). He was only going to get better with time, still very young. Most of us on here (one exception of course) were quite happy with the signing and if there was any reservation it was that he can be a bit of a prick. A lot of the Twitter/social media experts though let themselves be deceived by views of bitter Everton fans and the difficult start he had last year. The quality of sigings and the impact almost every single player has had under the new regime has been nothing short of remarkable. Even Targett and Wood served their purpose. This has to be remembered when we think about Tonali, might not be the missing piece in the puzzle right now but he will come good.2 points

You aren't getting anything anywhere near that with Starmer. Then when he goes and a Badenoch/Braverman led tory party regains power they'll go even further rightward under Streeting.2 points

Apparently if he had scored it was a handball, but if he assists it has to be an intentional handball. The one thing for the handball for me is their fans keep saying it kept the ball in play, but from what I remember it was actually a hinderance to him as he’d kept it in but it hit his hand and started going back out before he took his next touch.2 points

Put my nerd hat on here, that's a daft map. If they're defining high speed as >140 kph, most of the UK should be on it coloured blue, certainly ECML, WCML (both 240 kmph) and GW, probably a host of others. But most of France, Italy, and Spain, probably Germany too, are actually >300 kmph. Anyway, the failure of us to deliver this is just a symptom of the failure of a country. The North will enter the 22nd century with Victorian railways. London though, not so much with HS1, HS2 (albeit only Acton to Birmingham), cross link, and cross link 2. What is even the point of the North of England to these cunts? WHat fucking idiot in the North would vote for them? Reminds me of.2 points

Sure IMDB gets a bit skewed by the younger geeky audience, but it’s a pretty good rule of thumb imo. I rarely watch anything below a 6 and find it a great chaff sorter.2 points

He does these types of posts periodically, but generally they tend to for slightly more "glamourous" players Bit mad to see how far he's come.2 points
