Childhood in the UK when I grew up was glorious. Jumpers for goalposts, biking with mates, ciggys in the quarry, felt safe everywhere. This cunt grew up in a place which physically seperated and discriminated against black people, condemning the latter to a lifetime of poverty and servitude. Peak apartheid. Oh, and on a personal level Musk's family life was quite disturbing. His father married his step daughter ffs. Really hope this cunt ODs soon.7 points

If I wasn’t so forgetful I would be even more unfit, 90% of my exercise is walking up or down stairs forgetting what I wanted going back then remembering and having to do the stairs again.4 points

You do know the nuclear holocaust will happen in the last minute of extra time when we're 2 0 up against Liverpool don't you?4 points

Let us all spare a moment to mourn the end of an important footballing friendship that has remained strong within the shadows of their respective much larger rivals for quite some time - following the news that Moyes is likely returning to Everton. I'll never forget the good times they had crying about how shit Newcastle were/are. RIP4 points

There's the other side of things. The players who can't get a chance in the PL need competitive matches. The case is obvious for players like Osula or Kelly. But players like Targett need to almost remind the world they exist.4 points

I'd be resting everyone we can and bringing people on if required. But it really shouldn't be required. You need to give the second string lads starts in the cup, and if you can't do it at home against Bromley, then I don't know when you can. I don't want to be dismissive or a cunt about the opposition, but whatever team we put out, they're premier league players.4 points

If there's anyone invested in them not getting promoted, it's the bloke that will be obliged to swap Rome for Sunderland if they do.4 points

As I said the other day. In the age of PSR, Isak is unaffordable now outside of maybe Man City, PSG, or Real Madrid going mental.4 points

The gammons are going to struggle with this one. Because life was better then when there was a true sense of community and everyone looked out for each other.4 points

'If I was you, I would be enjoying the football' Oh mint lad. Aye, watch the syndicate still take the piss and win everything, aye pal. GTFO.4 points

But of a weird one like. I think he's massively overrated and his football is unwatchable, but he did have a knack of getting enough out of his teams to stop up when it came to the crunch. I've run it all through the master computer and the verdict is clear:4 points

I was going to say "depends, he might actually value his principles", then I remembered the Manchester loan.4 points

I love how they loathe Moyes and love Allardyce despite the former being left an absolute shit sandwich by the latter and having zero chance of getting players in as they were virtually bankrupted and unable to spend through FFP and all because of beating the Mags, marra.3 points

Remember the Murdoch press uproar when Obama warned the UK would be worse off in trade deals if it left the EU? Apparently prominent interference in our politics from over the Atlantic was unacceptable back then. I wonder what changed.3 points

https://fortune.com/2025/01/09/elon-musk-diablo-path-of-exile-loopholes-hiring-players-accusations/ Another entry in the "despite being the worlds richest man Elon Musk is also its biggest fucking loser" list.3 points

Aww, my era. I was going to post something the other day about if anyone could remember a film called Bostock's Cup. Did a search for it in case there was already a topic, and the one result was me posting the same thing in about 2007.3 points

Except they didn't in the game Rafa managed us, it was a draw and they were shite, and only beat us at their place because Colo broke his back in the first half and they got a load of dodgy decisions despite us battering them - A McClaren side too - battered them, it was the only game we looked decent under the cunt and still lost 3-0 Moyes always seems to get shit from the teams he manages because the football is dreadful, but he objectively has a better CV than Fat Sam. It was also back to back shaftings he got in roles after Ferguson left him with a squad with an average age of 80 at 'united'. Edit: that was the game Colo got a dodgy red card that was immediately overturned after the game.2 points

Dunno about that. Players still go for £100m and that's probably the absolute ceiling for Bruno and Gordon.2 points
