Was mental up by the stadium, kids climbing everywhere, someone had brought 2 caseys to knock about and flares were deployed. The noise was incredible. Absolute chaos but completely worth it5 points

Looking forward to the post-Look North fewm when the parade gets a mention (and not just in the sports round-up)5 points

I enjoyed this. It was a bit cheesy, a bit 'local' but the players bought into it, massive turnout, entire city united around the football club. Looks like the stream had 40k watching as well from around the world.. lots of people impressed with the turnout and so on. Positive day for the club, and everyone associated with it.4 points

I think Vance is 100% a cryptobro asset. He worked for Thiel for several years being groomed into what he is and was then sponsored to the tune of $15m dollars by Thiel once again to win his seat in the senate, coming from absolutely nowhere to do so. Trump took him as VP as part of a deal with the cryptobros sponsor his campaign. What Vance otherwise believes changes to fit his needs - it's not long ago he was calling Trump a nazi. He is there only to advance Thiel's agenda, I'm sure of it.4 points

More likely he's accessed and stolen all the data from the federal databases, he's had access to absolutely everything, so he's got what he wanted Cost cutting and firings just an enjoyable smokescreen for the evil prick3 points

Also, my dad always goes with ‘no fish cake, no pie’ instead of ‘no woman, no cry’. Maybe it’s a Walker thing?3 points

Ratcliffe claims Man United would have gone under without his cost cutting work. Does that sound like a club that can afford Isak?3 points
-
He and the rest of the goons at Sky want to have a think about what Eddie Howe has done with the players he inherited especially in his first season and compare it with what Amorim has fuckin done. And then they need to suggest that Man Utd go out and get their own fuckin Isak3 points
-
If he wills it enough he thinks it could happen. Honestly, these cunts are so transparent. They're basically given a platform by sky to represent their two clubs on a weekly basis and you have now grown adults who take their words as gospel. I don't know about sports washing but sky definitely promote football brain washing.3 points

I couldn't believe that from Neville. He knows the plight of his former club atm, but they're all so convinced that, because Man United have been on top for most of his adult life, that it's just inconceivable for them to have an extended period in the relative wilderness. They're a club in massive debt with mounting financial problems and a playing staff that isn't worth a fraction of what they paid for them. Sponsors will be looking to either get out or get their fees discounted. They basically have to perform miracles next time they enter the transfer market to have any hope of turning around their current predicament. And this knob thinks Isak will remotely consider them as his next move. Tosser.3 points

The missus just playing 'how deep is your love?' by the bee gees on her phone. I always swap 'love' for 'throat'. Whenever I hear 'song for whoever' by the beautiful south we'd always swap 'pencil case' with 'can of ace' and surely everyone swapped Desmond Dekkers 'woooaaah, the Israelites' with 'woooaaahh, the mackems are shite'? We did on the juke box at my local. We also did the same to Otis Redding's 'Dock of the bay' by changing '... I left my home in Georgia, headed for the 'Frisco bay' to the more acceptable '.... I left my home in Walker, headed for the Whitley Bay' on the same juke box when we were pissed. Anyone else have a few examples?2 points

Missed it as I was at my dad's 80th this afternoon but got back just before the bus left SJP, amazing watching it and that left the town moor bollocks in the shade. Quelle surprise! The players must be thinking wtf seeing those scenes, gutted I missed it but pleased I got to see it on the YouTube channels. Can't help but think what fan decided to give the parade a miss once they knew it was happening to stand on the moor listening to the 'entertainment', seriously, what the actual fuck?2 points

Not too upset about Forest playing 2 hours tonight with a PL game coming up on Tuesday.2 points

I assumed the surprise thing was gonna be fireworks but if they had anything like that planned, the fact it was blowing an absolute hoolie would have put paid to it. I fast forwarded through the event just to see the bits where Bruno was swearing.2 points

It’s lovely seeing how genuinely taken aback the players are with the turnout.2 points

Yes, I get your point but I still think that gives them a little too much power versus reality. The markets need society to be stable as much as governments need the markets to be. If society is in chaos because the government is failing, the markets are going to have a bad time. It's all interdependent IMO. Which was, I might add, my great belief in assuring world peace for the past years. The fact that everyone's markets were interdependent. All of which has now been turned on its head by Trump of course who doesn't give a flying fuck about markets from what we've seen so far. Shows what I know.2 points

Thiel and the cryptobros... they seem completely untouchable at the moment, the new power in US politics. I don't think they get taken down until political power asserts itself over financial power once again.2 points

The cunts behind trump aren't giving up, we need to sort these out as much as the sponsored cunts like trump and his lackeys.2 points

They are doing a massive celebration because it’s FAR cup weekend and we’re already out so have a week off the daft prick. If we were playing it would have never have happened to the same degree because Howe would never have allowed such a distraction. It’s fucking truly radge how ignorant a take this is. Perhaps he should lay off the kitkat chunkies and get some proper brain food in him like salmon.2 points
