I am staying at Cap Ferret at the moment. I spent some time in these parts ten years ago. Going to Pilat (again) tomorrow then onwards to Mimizan and Bayonne before heading to San Sebastian. I actually not sure if we manage to make Bilbao unless there is a real rupture of the space time continuum.1 point

I highly recommend Bassin d’Arcachon which is close to Bordeaux. Particularly Dune du Pilat or Cap Ferret (depending on what you are looking for).1 point
