  3. I refuse to acknowledge this warning, I did not wish death on Dougle (justified or not) I threatened to add him to "the list" if he did not behave, furthermore, the list I was referring to was the suspected sex offenders list and not the death list.

  6. You're right it's not curable but only the good die young. I'm not far off year 12 now with my level 3 tumour. I'm in the 5% who have made it this far. I just laugh at the character assassinations these days like Alex's, in the past it would be, "who do ye think ye are ye baaldy DC??!!". Life's too short. When you have kids you end up watching Peppa Pigs as much as MOTD and drinking 4 cans a week.

  9. My favourite mountaineering tale from the Karakoram range is of the first successful ascent of The Ogre by Doug Scott and Chris Bonington. All went well until , on the descent, not far from the top, Scott slipped on an abseil and went flying across the face of the mountain, smashing his shins when he hit rock. He and Bonington managed to abseil to a ledge where they spent a freezing night with no gear or sleeping bags, then made it back to their high camp below the West Summit where their two remaining team members, Clive Rowland and Mo Anthoine were. They spent 5 days stuck there in an ice cave, ran out of food, and eventually had to set of (in the middle of a storm), with Scott’s team members cutting steps for his knees where they could, him sliding and crawling otherwise. Due to the weather conditions, on this rescue descent, Bonington very nearly came a cropper by abseiling off the end of a rope, and broke his ribs. The two of them made it down, Scott then crawling for 5 days over broken stone and snow to get back to Base Camp. All this, with both his legs snapped below the knee, every single bump and movement causing him severe pain ( no painkillers left either), and Bonington struggling to breath with badly busted ribs. When they got there, ( Base Camp) it was empty, as the rest of the party had assumed all four were dead and left. Clive Rowland basically ran for a day or so and caught up with them, and they arranged a helicopter to pick up Scott and Bonington. It could only take one at a time, so Scott went first, and in its way back for Bonington it crashed so he had to wait days for another. Absolute epic. In over 20+ expeditions, it’s only been summitted three times I believe, the first being these absolute legends. Doug Scott was a fucking monster of a climber, the first UK climber to summit Everest, fucking nails, and also did an amazing amount of charitable work in the Karakoram and Nepal reducing child mortality and providing clean water to villages etc. Edit; Both he and Bonington were pissed off that their two rescuers, Rowland and Anthoine, got little credit at the time for saving their lives ( this was late 1975 -Bonington was probably the most famous climber in the world at the time, and Scott had just become the UK’s first Everest summiteer). Whenever either spoke about it, they went to great lengths to make it clear that without those two, they’d both still be up there.

  10. Not the same but Marcus Rashford said he would like to leave Man Utd. He kept training but got absolutely fucking roasted by the press for like two years? Why Isak isn’t get even a bit of criticism is obviously some bias. The smelly aggregators on Twitter, and the legitimate journalists would like him to join Liverpool.

  11. Absolutely stinks that we're all clamouring for these players that don't want to be here, and finally one turns up that does and everyone turns their nose up at him. I hope he hasn't taken in too much of the social media shit over the last few days.

  16. And sometimes, maybe the fans, who pay the wages of these overpaid pampered "superstars" who are lost in their own reality bubble and don't understand how in the real world you have honour contracts you have willingly signed up to, may think FUCK YOU AND YOUR WHINING. Honestly man, what a fucking disgraceful article. As if a 5 year contract is abnormal and we are the only club that does this. Somehow the complete standard practice we operate will put off these prima donna arsehole players from coming to the club because.... eh? Get fucked Romano you shit sturring cunt.

  18. The only sensible outcome now is for us not to sell Isak. Get another year out of him. This will give us time to have a new exec set up and hopefully a more professional recruitment process. Even if we only get 100m next year, it would be better than investing 70-80m in a desperation buy.

  27. Newcastle being the first club in the history of football who have tried to hang onto their best players whilst trying to progress. If it was one of the ‘big’ clubs the narrative would be the player and their agent were acting disgracefully and were being massively disrespectful to the institution that is Man Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool, etc

  31. The amount isn't the issue for me, it's the fact Sociedad are facilitating his ability to train in isolation and without media intrusion when they have a ulterior motive. If the cunt wants to remain fit, he should be at Darsley Park in full view of media cameras. He and/or his agent have created this situation. They need to suck up the consequences of it.

  36. Hard to believe Isak has turned into this, no real signs of it - having a laugh on the stage at the cup celebrations, the new third shirt ad and all the NUFC short videos. Got to be his agent behind it. Regardless, £150m for a player that's been anonymous for months and every match looks like he's going to go off injured would be good business... But, only if we sign 2 strikers to replace him - Sesko and Wissa would do me, but I doubt we'll see it. Another example of PSR keeping us behind though, we basically can't afford to give him £250k even though we've got unlimited finances. Need a quick resolution to it all
