Well let's put his little plan to the test. See how he does when he's fined a good portion of his weekly wage for a year for refusing to play for the team he's contracted to. Ornstein doing the bidding of the player and agent here, and it would be easy for Isak to deny they ever said this if he's still here when the window closes. Losing a year of his career I'm sure will have a non zero impact on his ability, his resistance to injury, all sorts. But if he wants to derail his career rather than play for us, then be my guest.14 points

Fuck him, pure and simple if this is his ultimate stance, I wonder if Liverpool have had a word with his agent and still think they can get him thinking we're a distressed seller? Let him rot and send a message out Liverpool and their red cartel mates.13 points

Even Merson has turned. At this point Isak should just publicly slag trans toilets and lasses football just so he can get his back slapped by Joey Barton. It's his only hope.12 points

In short, Isak and his agent would do well to read this article cos he doesn't have a leg to stand on with this refusal to play for the club stance.10 points

Isak the snake cunt, must be the cunt of all cunts if that useless cunt Agbonlahor thinks he’s being a cunt! I better get meself to Fenwicks, as I said the day I agree with fat Gabby I’ll show me arse in Fenwicks window.10 points

From a financial POV we're definitely cutting our nose off. But for once we're standing up and telling the footballing world that we're not being bullied into anything. If Liverpool had come along with a sensible offer then we could be accused of being unreasonable but as it stands they've tapped up the player and then tried to lowball us. I was listening to Martin O'Neill yesterday talking about how Liverpool did the exact same thing with Gareth Barry. They used Steven Gerrard to tap him up and then came in with an £8m bid to which Villa said they wanted £10m. Liverpool then walked away because they couldn't get him on the cheap. The player was gutted, mostly because Liverpool had let him down but he played the season and then went to Man City for £12m the following summer and filled his trophy cabinet. Liverpool are fucking snakes in all this so I would sell but 100% not to those cunts unless they pay full whack.10 points

but it isn't just that though is it? fucking hell, I'm aware things are different in this age of social media, twitter influencers and all that bollocks, but this is getting fucking hysterical, unprecedented even? a cartel club has made an offer for a player from little old newcastle who may potentially be on the verge of becoming a threat and we had the audacity to turn it down. they've practically mobilised the fucking tanks man and they've got no intentions of slowing down till we surrender. they've got the cunt hiding in a skip somewhere now outside an Italian restaurant too scared to come out because of all the scary, unreasonable geordies. it's fucking pathetic, likewise our owners if they give in to this shite. the last couple of weeks has had a fluctuating affect on my opinion mind, I'll give it that. I was probably one of the more sympathetic and philosophical amongst us regarding isak initially on account of being hugely critical of the shit show running the club, be it executives, recruitment, transfer windows, ticketing etc etc.. well not anymore, isak is a fucking repulsive, skinny thindercunt. much like ashley he's gone about fucking with something that's been dear to me since I was about 5, except he's managed to condense it in to a few weeks. I no longer want the cumt to suffer a compound fracture of both femurs, I hope he gets hit with a tackle just under the adam's apple and it snaps his fucking spinal column. the piece of fucking scum.9 points

That must be a mistake. Why would we be any players preferred destination with the inhumane way we're handling the Isak situation?9 points

tell him all offers will be refused, even £200m then amputate the skinny cunt's legs.9 points

Liverpool mouth piece working wonders ready for another low ball bid. Let the cunt rot.9 points

“He’s given his house up and last I heard he was living in a bin. He’s raging about the transfer so the lads have taken to calling him Oscar the Grouch. He’s fucking livid. Next I’d like to field a stupid question from the lass drooling at the back and finger blasting a seagull. Louise, is it?”8 points

There we have it, written by Ornstein of The Athletic, a publication that is officially in cahoots with the NY Times who are in cahoots with John Henry, FSG and the wallpushers. Blatant as fcuk...8 points

I think Isak's agent is probably foaming that NUFC have called his bluff. Even more so given that Isak is his golden goose, isn't he? If he spends a period of time in the wilderness, the agent is a bit fucked. Serves him right, the greedy cunt.8 points

There's some canny digs in the block above Cruddas Park shops. Let's see how much he likes getting a lift with a human shite in the corner up 20 stories only to realise he's been burgled again and there's a dead spice head in his bath.7 points

Romano would be a great subject for a piece of quality investigative journalism. To find out how he operates, what he's charging, who's paying him, which clubs are involved, etc. I saw something about some Scandinavian clubs accusing him of demanding cash to post certain things. Surely that should be of interest to a decent journalist.7 points

His agents have exposed themselves as not being up to top level football deals very badly this summer. No surprise since he's their golden goose and they've not got much else on the books but they'll have ambitions to do more and I can't imagine them being all that attractive to other talents considering this farce. Assuming no deal happens before the end of the window I'll imagine it goes something like this; reintegrates into the team, starts playing in late september/early october. Fire his agents before November and moves over to an agency that actually deals with big players, signs a new deal shortly afterwards with a release clause. Plays out the season quite well, with the world cup and a big move as a motivator. Plenty more than Liverpool are in for him next summer and we'll find out just how much he "insists on liverpool" as that rat cunt romano likes to put it. Signs for Barcelone.7 points

People posting these interviews followed by "what's changed?!" Well Liverpool told him they wanted him. That's what's changed, it's no more complicated than that. More money, more chance of winning something. I totally understand him wanting to leave, it's the way he's going about it that I can't get away with.6 points
-
Of course they have. Parish is one of those cunts voting to amend rules after our takeover just to suit the top teams. Same goes for PSR reformations. They probably do need him and his vote for similar fixes in the future.6 points

It'll be fucking hilarious if the landlord finds a new tenant and we still don't sell him. Let the cunt sleep in his boot in the Ponteland Sainsbury's carpark for a few nights and learn some fucking humility All we need is PIF to petulantly book out every hotel room in the north east for a spell. They have the money it won't affect PSR.6 points

It's bad news for Liverpool if it does come to court. They could potentially be liable for enticement to breach contract so the court would be able to demand all communications they've had with Isak and his agent and could get very messy.6 points

There are lots of strikers who "could" replace Isak, sure they may not score the odd wow goal he does, but they will happily convert the guilt edge chances we, as a team, create (for him) equally they may not miss the chances and one on one's he does, perhaps some of them can even head the ball. Yeah he's an outstanding player but he's not irreplaceable, that said he's ours until we decide he's not. There's no need to communicate anything further, he's not for sale.5 points

Howe's never going to do that though because, as he's repeated and rightly pointed out, he's not in total control of that situation. If he, or the club makes that statement and he goes, we're going to look fucking stupid. Echoes of when Pardew claimed, just one month into his tenure, that Andy Carroll was absolutely going nowhere. The approach they're taking is precisely right - say very little publicly, and what they do say, is factual. Howe has been quite shrewd. It's no accident IMO that he's slipped vital bits of information into what he's said in pressers - "I know of his whereabouts, only through the media", "He's not carrying any injury". Basically pointing out that Isak is behaving like a cunt and the 'what if' narrative being pedaled by the media isn't accurate.5 points
-
Yeah agreed. Was talking about it with a few mates in the pub last night - we all support different teams and the consensus is he's being a complete cunt. There's even a Liverpool fan in there of that opinion too. As one bloke said - Isak's stock was elevated massively last season and it's the first summer he's been considered hot property. He's profile is as big as it is in part because of the players around him and he's suddenly decided "fuck you all, I'm better than you!". It's absolutely disgusting conduct.5 points

Dream scenario - Adopt the Trump style of litigation, unleash the lawyers and tie him up with it for years whilst holding his registration. Sue for damages plus demand PSR relief for what he's costing us (his amortisation) for the duration.5 points

He’s small, so 35 is more like 32. Dan Burn, on the other hand, is like a Great Dane so probably about 40.5 points

He is 35 next month but I wouldn't sell him either. He will be integral this season. Best RB we've ever had.5 points
-
Good luck with that Alex. You're officially worth at least £110m. Refuse to play and you're in breach of contract so we simply sue the cunt for his transfer value.5 points

Not sure that will apply to @Monkeys Fist when they catch him.5 points
