I mean , I know you are all a bit slow, but fucking 60 today Utterly depressing number. And then the wife books a suprise day out. Thinks she’s booked us in to see a big orchestra playing Christmas music and ens up being six violinists playing unheard of classical crap. Walked out after 10 minutes8 points

Tries to classy his 60th up a bit and he would have been perfectly happy with Bon Geordie, duck pizza, and a big telly wank after she's gone to bed.7 points

Couldn't get a wink of sleep until about 6, the medication I take for it didn't seem to work as it usually does. I've only just woken up in the past hour. Was absolutely miserable when I opened my eyes until I remembered that we not only won last night, but we bullied, embarrassed and ran rings round our opposition. Got a smile on my face now and ready to tackle some garden work. A Newcastle United win could make even the most shite day feel like heaven. I adore this club. Hope yous all enjoy your Sundays. Lovely roast dinner for me later. Can't wait.7 points

I think that, irrespective of who is the better keeper, Pope needed dropping for his own good after the recent run of form. And we do actually have a good backup keeper which allows for that.7 points

Strikes me at the moment the key positions where quality is in short supply (in the league generally) are elite goal keepers and strikers. Also the positions that arguably make the most impact on a match. Hope Ramsdale does well and keeps his place. I like Pope as a person I think, but he's the spit of a mate of mine who can barely tie his own shoe laces.6 points

I went to see a classical ensemble at the sage as was. It was the night (Halloween iirc) after we beat Sunderland 5-1. It was billed as them, accompanied by pedal steel guitarist BJ Cole, playing Brian Eno’s Apollo album, with footage from the film For All Mankind playing on a big screen. That was the second half and it was superb. However the first hour or so (which there was no prior mention of) was them playing experimental modern classical music which, erm, wasn’t quite as good5 points

We saw it last season when Pope was injured and Dubs played, Dubs may not have made some saves that Pope probably would have, but his distribution was so much better he arguably had less saves to make because we weren't turning the ball over so deep because of his better feet and Ramsdale's kicking/feet skills are on a whole different level to Dubs.4 points

Now sat in the car freezing because it was either staying in RTG or going in the pub next door with 4 mobility scooters outside and some fucker killing Elvis on the karaoke. #BirthdayFromHell4 points

Co commentator going on about Liverpool injuries and how this is the first time the bench hasn't looked bare for them. Lads, they won the league AND THEN spent half a billion. There's no such thing as a bare bench for this lot.4 points

So if he drops a couple in the net on Tuesday it's ok because he can kick the ball into orbit/to a winger? It's likely that neither are good enough. Ramsdale is only on loan which leaves the door still open for Trafford at some point...3 points

He almost looks awkward about celebrating sometimes Like it doesn't come naturally to him to draw that attention into himself. When he scored his body language is less "Get the fuck in!" and more "Huh, that's nice"3 points

Howe: "That was really important as we haven't had that feeling enough or at all." "Very pleased today that we were able to put that right and give them that winning feeling to go back to Newcastle with." "I'm just pleased I don't have to answer the dreaded questions on it." "We have a lot of work to do to say we have solved some of the issues we have had, but it is a big moment for us. A step forward." "Time will tell. I'm not going to make any big statements, there is a long way to go."3 points

Moyes: “I could talk about us, but I actually think that Newcastle were good. We weren't good, so that was partly the reason." "Disappointed, obviously, with the result and the performance. We got off to a really poor start, you know, not by design. There's a lot of credit I have to give to Newcastle. I think they're a long way ahead of us." “We beat them at St. James' Park at the end of last season, but I think at the moment they're showing their experience from their Champions League games. They know how to try and defend and then score in the counter-attack." “I think Newcastle were better than maybe the two teams we've played recently. I think they're showing their experience from the games they get and their players. " “They've got the ability to change players. They've got a lot of speed in the wide areas. They're spending big on centre-forwards and they're really powerful at the back, never mind talking about the midfield players.” “You always get another chance in football. We picked up this run of three games. I saw it as being three really difficult games." So, at the moment, we've got [wins] from the two games. I have to try and take some more in the next ones. But we're a long way off being challenging the likes of a Newcastle at the moment." “That's the levels we have to try and get to. Even squad size tonight. We were pretty limited because of a couple of injuries and a couple of suspensions and whatnot, so it made it much more difficult to try and do anything different than what we had.”3 points
