It has absolutely nothing to do with demanding success. We all seemed to be motoring along quite nicely about 3 weeks ago and the general public seemed quite content. To be honest I thought Harper deserved to start as number 1 due to his performances at the back end of last season. Plus, Shay was a bit wobbly last year. Turns out it was just an injury he couldn't overcome at the time. Some posters said he was finished like.

I wouldnt be adverse to seeing beckham playing the holding role and I rate Hargreaves over Barry. Carrick would be my first choice in there, he can be disciplined and has a good array of passing and vision. Aye, forgot about him. I just have something in for him as he wasnt anything special when I played against him at school. Nah, in all seriousness. I was talking about him the other day being the ideal INTERNATIONAL holding midfielder. You don't necessarily need an aggressive tackler in your team at that level.

Aye, Josep Simunic should have been sent off before that but the ref bottled it. It was dangerous play by Kovac imo. I dont think the ref had any intention of sending him off (whether right or wrong) until he saw the blood.
