  1. Who is that? We've signed John Ruddy from Birmingham.
  2. This time might be a different. The country has gone to shit and the Tories have been telling everyone it's because of small boatsi. Add to that, a lot of Tories can't actually vote for their own party this time around, so that leaves a huge gap. The National Front, sorry Reform are waiting with open arms. If this does actually happen then Tories only have themselves to blame.
  3. I suspect most of them genuinely don't care about policy. He is appealing to the mouth breathers. Simple (pie in the sky) politics for simpletons. It's very Trump-esque.
  4. I think they’ve swallowed the: “Brexit was a great idea, but the Tories have completely mismanaged it” line.
  5. Trev and Gary will be quoting their shit down the boozer. Reform suggest simple solutions to complex questions and the chin dribblers believe it. Aye Nigel, you try and take back the immigrants to France with a couple of Royal Marines. That will work out nicely for everyone.
  6. Yeah. That’s my feeling as well. I think a lot of deserting Tories will vote Reform rather than the other parties.
  7. I try not to think about but we are heading into very unstable times.
  8. Sad. Isn’t there a second round of voting in France? Tactical vote might keep them out.
  9. It’s screaming out for Gordon. Him and Saka down the left should be cause havoc.
  10. I think it’ll be attack v defence second half - with zero shots on target.
  11. keane did as well and he isn’t even English.
  12. Neville and Keane spot on here. Gareth won’t do it though.
  13. He needs direct pace off him. With Sane, Muisala, Coman etc he scores for fun. If only England had anyone with a bit of pace and directness.
  14. Aye. He has actually been quite good when he has the ball at his feet going forward but I don’t rate his positional play. That’ll probably come with age. i don’t know who Southgate will hook for Eze, Bowen and Gallagher. Tough decisions ahead for Gareth.
  15. Aye. Absolutely raving about a player that has abysmal stats. I’ve seen him be completely anonymous most matches. I suspect he might be decent in the future but he is nothing special now.
  16. Lineup as expected. Mainoo in for Gallagher. Expect another 1-0 and my boy Gareth to ring the changes for next game by replacing Mainoo with Wharton.
  17. They obviously have to score the penalties. The counter argument is that we already have a penalty taker so his output would be 7 goals from 38 games.
  18. Sounds like it’s inflated then we are going to overpay for a Forest player after 1st Jul.
  19. Depends how you frame this. Weren’t 13 of them penalties? So 7 from open play. Longstaff scored 9. Plus Andreas Perraira plays for Brazil.
  20. I suspect we tried to offload him. In fact I think the club were entertaining offers for every player. Obviously, we’d only take absolute silly money for Gordon, Bruno or Isak.
  21. I’ve always said he is average. You’ve flip flopped from wanting him in the England team to being worse than Billy Askew. i just don’t criticise him for every bad pass in a game. He actually tries his best and was clearly playing through an injury last season. Overall though he needs replacing alongside Almiron. I suspect the entire fan base knows this though.
  22. Aye. What a shit statement. I’m sure the club are fully aware of the risk and consequence of the strategy. We aren’t the Venkys.
  23. Yeah, agree with that. I’m not sure what his best position is and if he even fits in with a Howe formation. I think he has been particularly unlucky with injuries when he has tried to break through and has never had a run in a settled position. I just find it sad when a local lad with a bit of talent is sold on. Longstaff doesn’t have his ability and is surely at the point where we need to upgrade him so if it was a toss up I’d lose Ciggy.
  24. He is strong, can play multiple positions, either footed, decent in the air. I think what I like about him most is he can take a ball on the turn superbly. Not many players can do that. He might well end up being an average player but I think there is a player in there and moving away from Eddie Howe will affect his career. From the financial position we are in , I can see why the club have done it but it’s sad for a player to be shifted out for PSR rather than being unwanted.
