Aye, it hasn't bothered me one bit. He might have been a nice bloke outside of footie and his brain may not have been functioning correctly towards the end of his career but he showed no sympathy towards anybody whilst at NUFC and sounds like he treated quite a few badly.

I understand what you’re saying @PaddockLad. He is carrying an injury but he is genuinely a lower prem standard at best. I like him and would have him around the squad though. When he first came on the scene under Rafa I thought he’d be England standard. He puts the effort in and that’s all you can ask.

isn’t that just generally Longstaff from most of last season? There must be something that makes him valuable in the team which isn’t visible to the naked eye. I suspect he gets good positions both attacking and defensively.
