Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Matty replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
He's almost as bad as Ashley in my opinion... He probably lined this up with Derek ages ago and has been praying for us to fail ever since. He'll be Ashley's mouthpiece and spy in the dressing room... He won't be getting any time off me, the prick. If I was him I seriously wouldn't bother.- 10610 replies

The bet itself won't be void, just the Rangers selection.

He also wears a nice dabble of sex panther on match days.

I always said the Leeds away match in the 2001-02 season, won 4-3 after being 3-1 down, was always the best match I'd ever been to but yesterday has to rival that now. 5 goals, Bramble off, and the mackems in the stand looked as if they knew it was coming the way they were before the match. They just looked beaten and SJP was rocking, and then their team turned up and played the same way they looked... scared. Anyone got any good pics from yesterday?

What's going on with the road layout at St James'?
Matty replied to Happy Face's topic in Newcastle Forum
'Sunderland fans are the chief suspects of a prank in which St James' Park, the Newcastle United football stadium, was defaced on Google Maps. Anyone looking for directions to the stadium using the map programme's satellite function would have been surprised to see an unusual shape lingering above the stands on Friday night. Superimposed on the satellite images, which enable users to see the stadium and surrounding roads as they really look, was an enormous phallic scrawl. It appears the pranksters were able to graffiti the satellite image by tricking the function which draws opaque lines on top of the satellite image to mark where roads lie. 'A non-existent route has been drawn leading from Barrak Road, adjacent to the stadium, directly over the Milburn and SIr John Hall stands on the west and north sides of the ground, and into the adjacent car park. The programme therefore superimposes the new "road" - with its crude shape - directly above the stadium. The graffiti is thought to have gone undiscovered by Google moderators for at least a week. It is not known who is responsible for the practical joke, but likely suspects include fans of rival club Sunderland, and Newcastle supporters angry at owner Mike Ashley's decision last season to officially rename the ground SportsDirect.com@StJames'ParkStadium, after his online retail business' - The Daily Telegraph. -

Quite a nice pub too, been there a few times on my visits to my lass' parents.

A new low surely? They are currently bottom of the Premier League with 2 points after 31 games.

I think this could be a very good signing if we manage to pull it off [/jinxed]

What? Am allowed to dream. Just the mention of the name makes me think of much better days...

I'm around mid-table in early November and doing alright, nothing spectacular but alright considering my only English signing approach. Out of nowhere, and without me asking for more money, the new owner suddenly makes £100m available to spend straight away. At this point I'm kind of regretting the decision to go with English only signings when I see the amount of players who would be interested in a move, but I managed to stick to it. January 1st should be an interesting day at the club, as so far the confirmed signings are: Jack Wilshere £17m Victor Moses £10m Glen Johnson £12m Gabby Agbonlahor £20m Tom Huddlestone £12m And a £17m bid for Lennon still being considered by Spurs. My squad in the new year should be something like this: GK - Harper / Krul RB - Johnson / Simpson / Perch / R Taylor CB - S Taylor / Shawcross / Colo / Campbell / Williamson LB - Enrique / Kadar / Perch CM - Gosling / Huddlestone / Smith / Guthrie / Nolan / Barton AMR / L - Jonas / Milner / Routledge / Moses / (Lennon?) AMC - Wilshere / Nolan ST - Carroll / Moses / Agbonlahor / Jay Rodrigez

Decided to start a new game with Newcastle and going to approach a English only signing plan. Things were going alright then Fat Mike sold up to a business tycoon from Luxembourg (?!) who instantly pumped £180m into the club and gave me £40m to spend with 4 days of the transfer window left. Managed to sign Milner (£22m) and Shawcross (£11m).

I don't find they slow the game down at all to be honest, and I've got so used to them now that when I see a game without them it just looks so bare. I was never a fan of the new skin for this game so I'm using a darkened version of the FM2007 skin.
