  1. No everything is fine at home. Has been for about a year. This is why I feel so iffy about aformenshioned scenario. aformenshioned? You been on the weed and guinness already lol! it's aforementioned btw
  2. Flirting is fine, but going to some lasses house to get stoned and have a few drinks, when she clearly wants to jump his bones is suicide lol! I mean I love Mrs Ajax but if I was in a room with with some hot horny chick, I was stoned and a bit drunk, and she started getting all naked and offering me the world on a plate then even I'd be struggling to get out of that one with my monogamy intact! Therefore I'd stay away from that situation all together and just wank myself silly at the thought of it instead Perhaps a pre-wank is in order. To keep the mind right an all. Haha possibly, but I think even pre-wank is no match for a combo of weed, beer and a naked hottie straddling you
  3. Cheers mate, i'll bookmark that link. Yeah i think i'd just walk around in awe for the whole week as it'll be like being in a film as I've seen it that many times on the TV and in the Cinema. £700 for a week is much cheaper than I was expecting for a hotel too so thats good. I heard Jet 2 were doing cheap flights to NYC so I need to look in to that, but not sure I could handle such a long flight in a horrible cramped little plane

  5. Deceit I'm just presuming that as it seems like there may be some less than ideal dealings on her part reading between the lines on here. My advice would be: If you want things to work with your missus then stay clear of the lass. If you want revenge on yer missus than shag the lass until you break your knob... however bare in mind that in the long run this will probably make your relationship worse with your missus even if she never finds out If you dont really want to be with your missus anymore then just shag away but dump your missus or... Get them both really drunk and convince them a threesome is the best idea ever
  6. Haha yeah more than likely in all fairness, i'll check it out tho just in case but imagine it'll be a cheap hotel we'll end up going with
  7. Good pics mate... only slight thing i'd mention is that with the indoor ones of the kids their skin colours are a little grey instead of white, so I'd either bump up the contrast a bit or use a bit of the dodge tool on them to make the skin a little less grey. Hadn't seen those quayside one's before but just noticed them now and they're really good, especially like the reflection one.
  8. We had originally booked an apartment in December 2010 for April 2011, but the owner was being a titbag so I had to find a hotel with about a month and a half to spare! Obviously I wouldn't leave it that late, but there did seem to be rooms available most of the time. Mind, I don't know if this is true but I had been told Spring was one of the quieter times to go, it might be different on the run up to Christmas like! Good point about it being the run up to xmas, might be a good idea to book the accomodation fairly early and then save up for the flights and buy them nearer the time (although not too near due to availability and also prices going up nearer the departure date). I was considering an apartment rather than a hotel but it would depend on the cost, we usually do this when we go away for a long weekend to somewhere in Eastern Europe or Edinburgh and prefer it to staying in a hotel.

  10. Do you do Bar Mitzvahs, Andy? My sarcasm detector is working again I'm afraid I'm being serious!!! Haha ok sorry mate i thought it was just the usual "weddings/bar mitzvahs" joke lol I haven't done one tbh but I don't see why not... Can u PM me the details? Its nothing concrete yet, it's for my mate. He's not actually Jewish but is a real tight fisted wanker. (Took you fucking long enough to bite!!!)

  13. More paragraphs than a Lee Ryder article here, but nontheless:- The above is good advice indeed. Took me a while to find one that could accomodate us as we had an awkward number of people, but there were loads of hotels that were relatively cheap and still in decent places. We ended up in one on West 80th St. (Upper West Side, obviously!) that had a Subway stop 2 minutes away on Broadway, took no time at all to get anywhere from there. It wasn't mind blowing but the rooms locked, the staff were cushty, the beds were comfy, the shower worked and the area was mint. The Subway is a piece of piss to use by the way, just get a card from the machine and top it up. Not that expensive either. Map is easy enough to suss out fairly quickly aswell. We used it a fair bit but also did loads of walking as you would expect. The only thing that you need to watch for is late night trains that don't stop everywhere, but for that theres always a taxi. Speaking of walking, if you get the chance, get the Subway up to the top of Central Park and walk all the way through it to the bottom. Great way to sort yourself out after a late night. As for tourusty stuff, we did most of the usual. Loads of people will tell you to do the Top of the Rock thing because it's cheaper, the queues are shorter and the view is better. That may be but personally I've wanted to go up the Empire State since I was a kid, so that's what I did. Queuing can be a pain but America insist on making you feel like you're less in a queue, more being entertained before the main event. Being English however, you will probably see through it and get bored quickly! We didn't go to Liberty Island, we just looked at it from Battery Park. As previously mentioned you can get the Staten Island ferry for nowt and it goes past the statue anyway. It was pissing it down though so we went to the pub. We basically spent all day sightseeing and all night wandering around from bar to bar in different areas each night. It was fucking superb. Sounds like you had a cracking time mate, and the Hotel sounds pretty much what we'd be looking for tbh. I'd probably have to look in to which building to go up, I always thought the Empire State Building was the one everyone did so not familiar with the Rockafeller one. I think we'll do lots of walking tbh and take the subway too, taxi's would be good but I think I'd probs miss some of the culture that way (although yellow cabs are part of the culture admittedly!). How far in advance did you book your hotel? We're really skint at the moment, but I'm imagining there's plenty of hotel rooms available all year round and as it's probably November next year until we go we've got plenty of time to worry about that?
  14. Yeah I think eating breakfast out would be great as you get more of a feel for the place eating in cafe's etc than in the hotel. I've heard the portions are ridiculous before... apparently you can get a massive onion deep fried in batter as a starter but it actually feeds a family of 4 lol
  15. If anyone is getting married or knows someone who is, and they are on a very tight budget then please get in touch as I'm looking to expand my portfolio and experience in wedding photography. I'll not post any prices on here but if anyone would like more info then please PM me. I also have a website for examples of my work, but i'll not post that as only recently did on here and dont want to get in trouble off the mods for spamming the board But I can give the link to anyone who PM's me. Cheers Andy
  16. That's great advice mate, thanks very much
  17. Ok i'll bare that in mind, I guess I dont want to be too far out of it all
  18. Might be a good option, cheers for the info
  19. Yeah that was my worry tbh as we're pretty skint, although thinking of going in October or November to allow us a bit of time to save up. I'd say we'd be looking to stay somewhere fairly nice in a decent location... nothing too spectacular, but equally not a bug ridden matress on murder street. Probably eat at good but not flash restaurants and do a fair few of the tourist trips http://newyork.timeout.com/things-to-do/th...n-new-york-city Hotel rooms are tiny and cost a fair bit. You could stay away from Times square area and get the subway around the island. Thanks for the link. I'm happy not staying too central if it saves money... tbh it would be a good way of seeing parts of the city I might not have seen anyway

  21. Sounds like a good experience, I plan on doing a lot of the touristy stuff as well and some non toursity if possible, but a view like that at night time must be pretty spectacular and one not to be missed i'd imagine
  22. Planning on going to New York next year at some point for about a week. Has anyone been and how much did it cost roughly for the whole thing if so? I.e. flights, hotel and spending money.
