  1. have you done one of those food diary things to see if anything your eating may be triggering them? mine are related to stress. No as I only get them really rarely like maybe once or twice a year max. The time before this was after playing footy so hadn't even eaten anything really then.
  2. Could well be the choc cake. Yeah thats the last time I eat chocolate!
  3. Just remembered I ate a big piece of Chocolate cake last night after the sauna... I dont usually eat chocolate and it gave me a migraine once in the past. I reckon it could be a mixture of dehydration and something in chocolate
  4. Yeah i think they are what the doc gave me and they work well... can't take one in my sleep though if I have one then like last night
  5. "I'm not bothered" about 100 times when ever she's clearly bothered about something. "I know she said x about me, i'm not bothered, i'm not bothered, stupid cow can go fuck herself because i'm not bothered what she thinks, i'm not bothered" etc etc etc. Yeah you clearly are pet!
  6. Haha well yeah there is always that but I'd rather be here and do no work than ring in sick as they are funny about you being off at my work They're funny about it everywhere. You just need to bring them round to your way of thinking.... Yeah I tried that by having 6 consecutive weeks off 3 years ago, 9 consecutive the year after, followed by 5 last year... they weren't very impressed lol! that's some impressive boundary testing. And I thought I was good at sickies! Haha yeah I had Pleurisy the 1st time (infection of the lung lining), had my tonsils out the 2nd year and got an infection, then had a mega migraine last year that screwed up my vision so bad I couldnt even look at a PC screen for over a month and something that hasn't completely gone away 18 months later (and probably never will). I'm seriously awesome at getting ill lol!
  7. Yeah I drank a fair bit yesterday tbh, took a bottle of water with me to the pool and drank that, and several cups of herbal tea afterwards, but I could have been dehydrated still from Saturday as it was hot and I was busy, then i drank some wine and a whiskey on the night time. In fact I used to suffer badly from insomnia which i eventually worked out was partly due to dehydration... I didn't sleep well on Saturday night and had a restless sleep last night, so I think you might have hit the nail on the head regarding the cause... probably a period of not being properly hydrated stretching back to Saturday day time. Now I just need to work out how to get my brain functioning properly again, but I'm guessing that'll probably just be a case of sleep tonight.

  9. Yeah I reckon you're probably right...stupid body!
  10. Haha seriously? Yeah. He used to carry it around with him. haha I'm far too confussed today to try and work out if you're having a laugh
  11. Yeah it's more the after effects rather than the migraine itself tbh... When I have a migraine its really is the full works with the aura and everything, but this is more the after effects I'm experiencing today. In all honesty I dont remember having the migraine attack as I woke up like this, I'm guessing i had it in my sleep which is a new one for me I would be quite tempted to lie down and sleep for a bit but unfortunately at work, so I'm trying to find a way of getting my brain functioning properly as I can't concentrate and even inputting stuff on a spreadsheet is baffling me lol! I've tried food and coffee but neither seems to be helping Have you changed your routine drastically in any way recently? No but I did feel pretty knackered yesterday as was on my feet for most of the day Saturday working, then didn't sleep great on the night time, then did loads yesterday, then went swimming and for a steam and a sauna... I reckon its possible I over did it a bit?

  14. I get pretty extreme migraines occasionally... must have had one in my sleep last night as got a pain in the top right hand side of my head and feel completely confussed and spaced out. Anyone get migraines that are above the standard ones? i.e. one's that leave you completely retarded for a day or more after? Any tips on trying to get back to a normal state of mind quicker? I really can't concentrate on my work one bit.
  15. You can get the following from most sandwhich shops: Stinky minge - its a small blue cheese pastry and sells out quickly, best always to ask if the person behind the counter has one before ordering i.e. "Do you have a stinky minge" Cup of Jizz - A slightly salty broth that is full of minerals and calcium. Ask any sandwhich or bakery shop for "a cup of jizz" and enjoy the fresh produce. I'd always ask if the Jizz is fresh though as old jizz is apparently not nice! Winnits - Small meatballs, very flavoursome. Its a very Goerdie produce and not always listed on the menu's as its not something people from elsewhere eat... I'd highly recommend this dish... just ask the person behind the counter if they "have winnits" Also there's an eating game in Newcastle called "nosh" or "nosh off" that goes back hundreds of years... If you find someone eating on the street and you are also eating then you can challenge them to a game of who can eat their food the quickest... the loser has to give the winner £5. To start the game find someone eating and ask them if they"fancy a Nosh" or just simply "Can I nosh you off"
  16. Spoke to a few of the lads, and one has done his knee and isn't going to be fit for a while, one has decided to play elsewhere and one of the others has footy training for his sunday team starting on Thursdays but doesn't know what time yet (although he said he'll play if it doesn't clash). What time would kick off be... 6pm? I've got a couple of lads up for it, and waiting for a couple more to get back to me... looks like next week might be too soon though for me to confirm so might need to leave it a week or so if that's ok? I have other lads who would play, but tbh they are properly rubbish and I would rather wait on the better players so we can give you a decent game.
  17. Hufty's really nice... did I mention on here that I had met her before ? I dont remember saying that lol! But yeah she does a great job at the West End Women and Girls group and was always very pleasant to deal with. You didn't, I noticed her in the wedding photos. Haha is she in the wedding pics? I dont remember her being there? Which pic is she in?
