  1. What was on the label? Any info at all? Murgatroid which is a Intellectual Property firm in town mate. That's about all tho unfortunately
  2. Finally finished off a bottle of 12 year old malt whiskey the other night... been trying to make it last but unfortunately it was so nice even the wife wanted drink it! Unfortunately I couldn't tell her to sod off as she won it at some conference thingy so technically it was hers I have no idea what make it was as it had a company's name on it due to it being a marketing event so I can't ever buy it which is slightly annoying
  3. Looks like its from an advert for the NSPCC or something lol... Its a nice shot tho, just can't help thinking it's about to come with some sort of story about x child who was forced to live in a suitcase by his parents
  4. Haha ok I'd like to change the original post heading to "attractive lasses in tight leggings - oooh yeah!!!" lol!
  5. I always 100% used to be a boobs man, but since lasses started wearing leggings and a really short t-shirt my whole philosophy has changed. Now if I see a lass and she's wearing tight leggings I instantly check out her arse long before her boobs. I just had a lass walk in to my office with the tightest of leggings on, the perfect arse and either no knickers or the skimpiest of thongs... I actually have no idea what her boobs are like. I always wonder whether lasses realise just how much you can see through their leggings, as sometimes it's almost pornographic. Long live the leggings fashion trend, clearly invented by a man lol!
  6. Aye and who puts the cost of that up? I said to them (the bird and mate). If you were interviewing someone and they turned up in a pair of joggers and a stained jumper would you take them serious? Would you go out to the shops with shit stained pants? Food down your colthes etc? Or generally looking a gypo? No, IMO when I see people who dont generally respect their appearance it says to me, their lazy, disrespecting wankers. Is that bad? Is that bad? Of course not... about 99% of the time you'd be spot on with your assessment so I really dont see a problem. I'd argue its just nature that you feel that way... survival of the fittest is a natural selection process... fat, smelly, lazy scruffs are the weaker members of society, they are less likely to suceed in work, attracting a mate and also will likely suffer health problems. We are afterall descended from beasts and many of the rules of the animal kingdom apply to our way of life to this day.
  7. No wrong or right answer really... If you see the things that are wrong with people and society then I dont see a problem... afterall they must be there for you to see them. Equally if you can see the good in people all the time then thats a nice quality to have. Personally I am like you, I see things very black and white, I comment on it, and I dont tollerate fools. I would never apologise for being that way... society is fucked and if more people recognised their short comings then we'd live in a much nicer world... as they dont realise I sometimes take it upon myself to tell them.
  8. Not done it yet, but am meeting someone later who is interested in selling some of my photo's on canvases in his sports memorabilia shop
  9. Well said. Haha well I was trying to be more discrete then that... but yeah that about sums it up lol!
  10. Cheers lads... Gateshead Stadium is looking like the best option as its easy for everyone to get to
  11. Thats nothing! When I was young (ok very young) Scooby Do scared the pants off me! I used to sit watching it scared out of my mind lol! That's the baddies in it that I found scary btw not the dog
  12. Trying to find an 11-a-side pitch (preferrable 3g but grass would be considered) for next week but not having much look as they all seem to be booked up. Anyone have any suggestions for venues / locations?
  13. Scariest film I've ever watched now i think about it was The Ring. Not because the film was all that scary, but the lass I was watching with had come around to stop for one night and was still there three days later!!!! Now that's some proper freaky shit!!!
  14. I wasn't impressed with PA2 tbh mate, not a patch on the 1st one
  15. Yeah I thought Paranormal Activity was good and pretty scary due to the suspense aspect. I think its a difficult thing to pull off though as a lot of the time with those types of films you just think "what are you doing?!! run for god's sake... no dont go in there... why would you do that?!!" which is what makes it scary but also annoys the hell out of me as I can't help thinking that it's not very realistic lol A quite freaky bit in Insidious is this woman looking up in to the corner of the room/ceiling and she can see a demon hanging there... no-one else can see it... and it reminded me of how the dog recently was just snoozing on the rug, suddenly he looked up at the corner of the room, got up but stayed crouched down, and slowly prowled a few steps forwards, eyes still firmly fixed to the same spot on the wall/ceiling and then let out a really deep gutteral growl... there was nothing there!!! Am glad that was before I watched that film and not just after!
  16. Just wondering what films people have watched that are actually really scary? The missus and I watched Insidious on Sunday night which was decent, but it wasn't the most scary film in the world. The one that stands out for me though is "The Grudge" staring Sarah Michelle Geller... although I'm not sure if that's because it was really scary, or because I watched it on my own which probably added to the spook factor. Another would be "A Nightmare on Elm Street", mainly because I was about 9 and my parents decided it would be a good idea to let me watch it... yeah a film about a evil man who kills children in their sleep? thanks for endless nights of lying awake too scared to go to sleep mum and dad! lol!
  17. Went through something similar about 8 years ago mate... drifted apart from a lot of my friends as they all settled down, or moved away, or just hadn't grown up and I stopped enjoying spending time with them. Went through a bit of a state of constantly being down and just feeling like I was completely alone... It actually got to the point where I'd finish work on a Friday, go home and not see or speak to anyone until the following Monday morning. I actually hated my life at that point. Eventually I dunno what happened but I just changed my mind set and went about sorting things out for myself... I had just expected things to happen for me but they never did and I learn't probably the most important thing I've ever learnt in life, and that was that if you want something you have to go and get it for yourself. I ended up just signing up for loads of on-line dating sites and things like that, got a few dates with various women, none which ended up progressing past a few dates... but the important thing was I'd broken the cycle. I was going out at the weekend, meeting women I'd never met before and putting myself out there... It boosted my confidence no end and within a year I'd met Mrs Ajax and my life has been sweet as a nut ever since. Falling in to a rut is easy, getting out of it is hard... but only you can do it, and if you wait for things to change they usually don't. So take some risks and get yourself out and about, sign up for a night course to give you a way to meet new people, get on the on-line dating sites and get some dates sorted, go buy some new clothes and give your image a boost... before you know it you'll feel like a completely different person.
  18. Bonamental - sound advice that mate, got one for my outgoings but need to set one up for income now... Like u say a little ongoing work throughout the year is better than a mad rush at the end of it!
  19. Hopefully mate. Not for a few years but if I can establish myself properly then that's definately the long term plan
  20. Yeah photoshop is the bee's knee's tbh... I had dabbled with it briefly many years ago and so knew a few basics when I got the DSLR, so felt comfortable using it straight off, but I know most people like to use something else first and then move on to Photoshop as its a bit of a daunting piece of kit. Tbh it's not once you get to grips with it, but I totally see why most people want to build up to it. Haha good old MM? I've had what? 4 shoots booked in and all 4 have cancelled either on the day or the day before? I hope you have more luck than me mate. £20 an hour isn't bad but seeing as I have some of my own gear are you up for doing a shoot at your work still if I can get the model? I should really attend one of these nights tbh... It's not the easiest thing for me as I like to do things my own way lol, but I think it'd be a valuable learning experience. Any chance you could give me a heads up next time you're going to one? Yeah money is the root of all evils but tbh I need / want the money so I can keep building my business. I like to dabble and do things even if they aren't paid though tbh too, but ultimately I have my business head on first and foremost, and the hobby side of things comes second (but will still always get a look in... i'm lucky that I enjoy both aspects I think). This thing I have lined up that I might get you involved in isn't paid but should be a lot of fun, would suit you as its alternative and involves tattoo's and piercings. Also other things like gig photography but I'm uncertain about that one as I dont enjoy that a great deal.
  21. Really good pic as well... when and where did you do this? I haven't used my studio stuff much since buying it... I reckon we need to get that shoot organised with a model soon. I actually have something lined up with someone soon that would be right up your street, but its not concrete yet. I'll probs be doing an outdoor shoot with her 1st and then I'll get in touch with you about setting up a studio one. I saw an advert today for a studio to rent... £57 a week. I wish I was a bit further down the line as that would appeal to me greatly. Oh well maybe in the future!
  22. All good, but the bottom one is excellent i'd say! Do you ever use dodge and burn in Photoshop? You could use it on the top photo and it would make it a great photo... dodge the midtones and burn the shadows and you'd get a lot more of the texture in the wall to stand out.
  23. To include the path going off in to the background? stop being so innocent man Haha oh ok i get it now lol! Yeah I had to avoid trying to look up there a few times... very tempting but alas I was a complete professional on the day
  24. To include the path going off in to the background?
