My flight to Houston was delayed 6hrs last Saturday, 4 of which was spent buckled in my seat while we awaited the go-ahead to take off, we then flew via the arctic circle, going around the north of Iceland makimg the flight longer. Now it seems i might be delayed getting home, oh well, i cant complain at few extra days in Texas !

NEWCASTLE want to sign Bayern Munich's midfielder Hamit Altintop to prove they are serious about their Premier League return. The Turkey international is out of contract in the summer and is attracting interest from Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray. But Newcastle are also trying to land Altintop as their marquee capture in a bid to show they are back in the market for Europe's top players. The wideman played in Bayern Munich's Champions League semi-final win over Lyon in midweek. But he is looking for a change of scenery after ten years of playing football in Germany.
