1. you heard it here first, as usual http://z3.invisionfree.com/NUFCforum/index...?showtopic=2019 186084 I think the moaning about Bramble's and Given's hoofing antics is as old as the internet tbh. I do it every week... 186090 it was just a shameless plug for a dodgy board tbh.
2. Thats clearly taken on another occasion.......
3. Keane and Sunderland agree terms Former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane has agreed terms to become the new manager of Sunderland. Keane is expected to sign a contract after the home Championship game against West Brom on Monday. The 35-year-old was introduced to the Black Cats squad by chairman Niall Quinn on Sunday. Keane faces a tough challenge with the club bottom of the Championship after four consecutive league defeats after their relegation last season. The club were also knocked out of the Carling Cup after a 2-0 loss to lowly Bury. It will be the former Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Celtic midfielder's first steps into management, after injury ended his glittering playing career in June 2006. Keane will replace his former Republic of Ireland team-mate Quinn, who has occupied the role while a permanent choice was sought. A statement on the club's website said: "Roy Keane visited Sunderland today where he met with players and officials from the club. "Keane and the club have agreed terms for him to be appointed as manager, and it is envisaged that he will sign a formal contract immediately after Sunderland's game against West Brom tomorrow." Quinn and his Drumaville consortium bought out former chairman Bob Murray during the summer.
4. I've been watching it for ages, and I've not seen him move yet.
5. Emre is no better either, the times he gave the ball away today was crazy.
6. I hope not, but he probably will, knowing us.
7. Babayaro came off because of a tight hamstring (as well as being fucking shite) Luque came on to give Oba a partner, as it was clear to see playing alone up front wasn't working. Butt for Emre was due to Emre giving away possession every time he played the ball, we needed to keep the ball better. You can only question the timing of the Emre sub in my view, should have waited, but in hindsight, its easy isn't it.
8. Agreed, its about time he was told, "pass, don't punt".
9. Good News On Martins By Ian Willis GLENN Roeder was happy to report that Obafemi Martins' injury in the 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa wasn't as bad as first feared. Martins was stretchered off on the hour mark after landing awkwardly following an aerial challenge, and he looked to be in some discomfort as he was carried off down the tunnel. But Roeder reckons the problem was a dead leg, and thinks the former Inter Milan pace ace will be ready for the next game against Fulham a week on Saturday. Roeder told Newcastle World TV: "He has been in some discomfort, but we think it is just a nasty dead leg where he will have had a bleed in the muscle. "He will be sore for a few days, but we don't think there will be any problems with regards to the next game against Fulham. "When the stretcher came on it looked bad, he wasn't moving and I thought it was serious, but thankfully it isn't as bad as it first looked."
10. SSN. 186024 Talksport just said the same.
11. Get ready for the media Martin O'Neill Jizz-fest.
12. Total tosh He had a full pre-season with Inter, which I woyuld guess get's him pretty fit 185971 No he didn't. He's missed a number of their pre-season games with "flu", which was a way of getting him out the way while the move went through. 185973 What Number would that be ?
13. Yeah, we can really blame Roeder for this one can't we ! for fuck sake.
14. how the fuck are we 2 down after that !!! We looked well on top. Martins on his own up front is never going to work, get either Emre or Milner off and bring on Zoggy.
15. Keane unveiled to Sunderland team Roy Keane has been introduced to Sunderland's players as their next manager, BBC Sport understands. Black Cats chairman Niall Quinn and Keane are thought to have met the squad at training on Sunday ahead of the game against West Brom on Monday. The 35-year-old is not believed to have yet signed a contract. But, once the formalities are completed, he is set to be unveiled at the Stadium of Light before the Championship game against the Baggies.
16. Well thats a fantastic transfer policy Glenn, the old "all the eggs in one basket" tactic. 185890 I don't buy that for a second.
17. How the fuck he keeps pulling the wool over the England manager's eyes is beyond me.
