there's a lot of things, like a better education system, but it ultimately comes down to finance. nhs is just so underfunded. I felt sorry for the staff trying to make do, and for the people stuck in the system, in my brief experience with it. on the flip side, french taxes are horrendous. I would never run a company from there.
