Aye, although the corner was about 3 foot out so I think Boro had stopped playing. He also 'scored' against Man Utd. He's still looked very ordinary and hasn't looked remotely like creating a goal for himself. I'm not saying he's shit by any means but he needs it 'on a plate'. Also, people go on about how he'd do this that and the other if he was playing for Arsenal, Man Utd. or whoever. Would he shite, he'd be lucky to make their bench. Agreed.

And Pompey breathe a HUGE sigh of relief. Shame.

I do think that Owen has lost a lot of his game. However, let's look at Sunday: NUFC's first 'goal' disallowed; Owen is the man in the position to score. NUFC's second 'goal' disallowed (the corner that went out then in): Owen is the man in the position to score. NUFC's only goal of the game; Owen scores. A great chance to make it 2 - 0, when the ball is cut back to near the penalty spot; Owen is the man in the postion to score. The above examples show he does have this knack of being in the right place.

Good post. IMO we should have gone the extra mile to sign both these players Don't suppose it will change some "opinions" that the clubs current transfer policy of bringing in 17 year old kids and hoping to gain success on the cheap is the way to go instead. Mind boggling. Still, Alex Ferguson has spent a lot of money, as have the other trophy winning clubs, but I'm sure those who agree that buying cheap shite is the way forward What does this post even mean? You're like an alcoholic bum arguing with an invisible foe. B) Your username betrays your lack of judgement and intelligence, if you think that THAT tosser justified his fee and being brought to the club. Keegan only made a few mistakes, but he was one of the biggest. So, there's only one idiot here, but as with other people, I don't expect you to understand the point. Its fairly simple really. Are you happy with last summers transfers and running the club as a "business". If you are, stop fuckin moaning about the league position, which may get worse. I can't believe what I've put in bold. Tino definitely wasn't always brilliant in the league but he did contribute. In Europe he was nothing short of sensational, not just once or twice, nearly every game. One of the biggest MYTHS about NUFC which is often mentioned is "Tino and Batty lost us the league" * Batty was our best player from when he joined to the end of the season * The rot had set in before they came, dropping points against relegated Man City, and humiliated by a piss poor West Ham * Tino was one of the best players on the pitch at Anfield * He scored a fantastic goal in the game against West Ham at home * He wasn't to blame for our pressing the self destruct button with THREE minutes to go at Blackburn * He was superb at Anfield * He didn't play in the game at Highbury * He came off the bench to set up Ferdinand's winner at home to Spurs, and our equaliser at Boro Those are facts, yet how many people do you hear say "Fuckin Tino cost us the league". I've admitted over his 22 months at the toon his league form could be patchy, but he cost 7m and we sold him for 6.5m, so we didn't lose anything, and he gave me the best night of my toon supporting life against Barcelona, and was utterly world class in other games like against Metz. If you remember as well, when SLF fucked off and Shearer got injured, Tino started the season up front on his own and looked like he was relishing it with a magnificent performance and brace against Sheff Wed. All in all, Tino was up there with the most skillful players the Premiership has ever seen, he was an utter joy to watch at times, and I'm honoured to say we had him for a little while. Tino was not the reason we lost the league in '96. This is yet another case of saying something often enough and it becomes the truth i.e. 'Tino cost us the league'. I wont say any more as this thread will just disintegrate into an argument that has been done to death imo, but I had to make the point about Tino costing us the league. I don't know if you read my post, but that's what I said too. Yeah, I read your post and was agreeing with you.

I'm paying for the fuckin' BBC *spits* anarl and would dearly love not to!!!!!!! A fine institution the BBC. I couldn't sit through 606 like, worse than talksport as the presenters don't even try to wind people up with senationalist/ill informed drivell. They just can't help it. The Beeb is just one big beano for eveyone employed by them. The drones are okay, I suppose, but the higher up the food chain one gets, the more I fuckin' detest them. *spits and spits and spits*

Agreed, heard a few like that myself, got them telt like....fucking numptys Was I pissed or did anyone else hear booing at half time? Didn't hear any mesel. People who think we will go straight from shit to 1996 need their head examined. The reality was that the first few months of Keegan's first stint were anything but glorious. It wasn't until the start of the following season when things started happening. Give him time, folks, give him time.

Sorry - I gave you bum information!! I'm using -R not RW's. Speed???? Are you havin' a laugh???? I'm playing the tape whilst recording it. its a "format" thing. The - types are more universally compatible, or so I was told. So I've stuck to - types for both DVD on the PC and DVD recorder under the telly, and they have all copied and worked on 2 different DVD players and the PC The plot thickens. The -R dvd I recorded onto yesterday will not play on either of my kids' laptops either. I'm totally lost on this one. I may just put it all on RW's as they seem to work wherever (I use these for recording progs to take away with me) I try them without problem. Could also be that you're not finalising the disc after you've finished recording. Care to explain that one?? Please.

We also need to sell on all the shit though. Barton, Butt, Smith, Geremi, Viduka, Ameobi. I take money for Milner too, hes had a decent run of games now and he just doesnt look like he can cut it. So we need another RW or 2 to add to that list. The trouble I have with getting rid of Milner is remembering what Ryan Giggs was like in his youth. He couldn't cross a ball for shit! Look at how good he got. Milner keeps getting picked for the U21, so he must have summat. Then again, I had this reservation about getting rid of Bramble as I recalled how much of a donkey Tony Adams was as a young man

I think I spied my feet on that video. They walked right by where I was waiting for the bus, nearly knocked an old couple off their feet. You really need to learn to control your anger! It's only football, ffs!

I'm eighteen, with a bullet. Got ma finger on the trigger, gonna pull it. As the song goes.

Was it me or was she actually chanting "get your tits out for the lads!" ??? They were actually singing 'Get your tits out for your Dad' (refering to the obvious). As well as 'Down on your daughter, you're going down on your daughter' And 'Gary Glitter's red and white army' which I thought deserved some credit

Polis always have camcorders going during marches/demonstrations/football supporters going to/from matches. Have to admit I was hoping the lad would give us a shot of his g/f
-
Watching the vid, I couldn't help thinking the lad was a bit of a mong for recording it. I then thought he was a complete and utter mong for posting it on Youtube.
-
Now that Keegan is back, I reckon Terry Mac is needed more than ever. He is someone that Keegan trusts implicitly - something that could be essential for Keegan over the coming months.

Much ado about nothing. Plenty of scope then for Louise Taylor to get on her high horse about, no doubt
