If you look through this thread you will find that I have not been anything but complementary about Newcastle. I think Carroll is a top player that should be involved in the England setup. We were second best all over the pitch yesterday and we didnt even show up really. Fair play. But my comment still stands about the SOL atmosphere when we beat you lot 2-1 matching yesterdays. No chance, you've got your rose tinted spectacles on. You's over-rate your support, which was clearly evident yesterday as it was utter garbage. It's like a library at your place at times, especially when you've got vast empty spaces all over the ground.

Cracking comment from the guardian site I thought Sunderland FC disgraced themselves today. It's all very well the fans coming on here with their hollow bravado giving it the 'we'll be back', etc. but why not take a moment to reflect on what transpired over the 90 min's for your own sake. SSFC - why do you arrogantly assume that you will finish above newcastle in the league? Surely NUFC's star is fast rising, by enlarge. Today the gulf in class was painful to watch, I actually felt sorry for Sunderland in the second half. But too many players in red and white are overweight and lacking in the technical attributes of the toon's players, and that needs to be looked at by Bruce. If Barton hasn't been the best all round, box-to-box english midfielder in the prem' this season I need to ask nursie to up my medication.
