  1. the sgt pepper one wouldve been better if he was hidden among people in the background imo noone got him in the ymca yet?
  2. clears up you calling me a mackem though. did it quite quickly as well now for you being an arsehole... how you going to get out of that?
  3. givin it the biggie? hahahahaha all i have done is defend my opinion from your banal insults why do you want me to "do one"? can you not handle people disagreeing with you? do all opinions have to match yours? will my capslock ever be fixed? tune in next week....
  4. i didnt avoid the question of my age, it just got lost in the inane wannabe hardman drivel thats spewing all over your keyboard as you try and put me down. if you need to assert your authority over newcomers thats fine, but dont baboons usually just display their arses and its over with? oh right. since a pic would be deleted you're showing that you ARE a big arse, not that you have one, i get it.
  5. fcb you've missed my point. i don't contest the negatives, and as i've said, he has contributed little to nothing since about december last year (and probably the same amount before the relegation). my point is that he had a great impact on the first few months of championship football we played, and for that i am grateful. it might be the only positive that can ever be attributed to his time here, but it is a positive.
  6. he deserves a lot of credit imo, if you care to state otherwise it's fine tecato, honestly, i'll let you off if you want to be a wanker fcb, great, im sure we'll get on like a house on fire
  7. i hate scousers nearly as much as i detest brummies its a shame there are 2 scouse clubs, 3 brum clubs and wolves in the prem and yet only 3 relegation spots imo i admire what smith did for us, and will stand by my opinion. if keyboard warriors want to argue fair enough, just wish theyd try and have a basis other than "you're thick, and a mackem, and you smell"
  8. and that thread is why i came here. haha
  9. pathetic? hahaha ok. enjoy your paranoia. i felt the need to prove im not a mackem (and since it took me a long time to get registered can you blame me? even saw a post by tom saying he had to reject a load of mackems trying to sign up.... I WAS REJECTED!!! hahaha)
  10. agree with what most of you say ayatollah. from about december onwards smith became very small in terms of on the field contirbutions, if he made any at all
  11. in fact here's a link http://www.newcastle.vitalfootball.co.uk/f...;posts=1#M99725 arsehole
  12. fcb. type in talkofthetyne.com and you'll see a thread by me called "keyboard warriors". if you click on it, you'll see i mention you. in fact, im going to make it especially for you, just so you know im not an inbred also you'll see my post count, and it should put to ease your paranoia about where my loyalties lie...
  13. ok. you clearly cant argue fcb. shame, because it was your shit things on wearside thread which attracted me to this board. i live within 1.5 miles of sjp, on the banks of the tyne just fyi im not afraid to give my opinion, if you cant handle that and discuss it in a reasonable manner, like others, then why try and compare "contributions"? keyboard warriors (like yourself) in my experience offer very little to boards. as you say ive been here less than a day (even though i signed up earlier in the week and wasnt approved) and you are already attacking me. bit arseholey of you tbf, arsehole
  14. tecato i singled him out because it is what the thread is about. do you want me to list every player from our squad in the order of how influential they were in getting us promoted? saying smith almost singlehandedly dragged us through may have been a bit overdramatic and probably more hyperbole than fact, but still, he did a great deal, and will always have my thanks for that
  15. and now you're quoting me, highlighting something, and then arguing about a different point.... as i said, his goals undoubtedly helped a great deal, but he didnt get stuck in.... do you disagree with this or do i have to give up on a reasonable argument and put you in the "likes to see his name on the screen regardless of what its about" section?
  16. you said smith appealed to thick people, and then asked if i was turkish.... and now you're saying i dont have a clue seeing as how your counter argument is largely based on smiths wages (not linked to anything i said), calling me a mug, and my screen name, i think its highly ironic that you call me thick screen name is a one ive had from playing fifa years ago (there's a story as to why involving me misspelling a word that should have had 1 letter and i used 2 blah blah blah there was a girl involved and pisstaking mates), use it on other messageboards, so seemed appropriate to use it here. but if you think that makes me turkish... well.... it just adds a modicum of irony to you calling me thick....
  17. already explained the "good he did" haha how does that make me thick fcb aka "keyboard warrior"?
  18. guthrie did look better today aye, in every sense of the phrase but then again, anything would be an improvement on wba danny
  19. dammit. i hate it when my post is bottom of the first page. might as well have not posted it, as hardly anyones gonna see it haha also, forster has made a few mistakes whilst at celtic, hasnt been perfect by a long way
  20. i'd be happy for him to leave really the longer he stays, the more he'll tarnish the memory of what good he did
  21. krul deserved to be dropped. given was dropped when his kicking was poor and didnt get reinstated until it improved (and he started bitching) i think in 2/3 years time krul/forster will be our 2 keepers (what happens with the number 1 jersey, and if they both stay after that is another discussion to be had in 2/3 years time however), and that is a good period for them to get spells here and there, maybe one of them going on loan, and when they SHOW that they are ready, they will earn the place
  22. guthrie seems to have suffered from nicky butt's influence. when he first came here he used to actually use his passing ability to pick out passes and start attacks, nowadays it seems he's more obsessed with keeping possession - making him either play a sideways ball to someone in space guaranteed to keep the ball, or dally on it when he doesnt have a guaranteed option on. shame. if keegan had stayed guthrie couldve been coached into a fine player. as could jonas tbh. hughton and our current coaches, for all their obvious skill at whipping our defence into shape (offside trap is currently majestic in our back 4), clearly cant train attackers properly. most of them seem to have gone backwards since arriving. oh, and to answer the question, guthrie all day. his legs actually work, and at least he's noticeable. when smith plays it's like we have 10 men.
  23. hmm dressing room probably had an influence from nolan, and certainly the goals he scored helped a great deal, but he didnt get stuck in like smith did plus, nolan isnt the issue here, yes he helped us a great deal to get promoted, but he's still doing a job for us in the prem, not the same category as smith.
  24. smith literally put his body on the line first few months of last season clearly influenced dressing room after orient game did anything and everything that was needed (cardiff game) for the good of the team without smith i really wonder if we wouldve had such a good start, and without that good start i wonder if other players' heads wouldve dropped etc etc imo, smith deserves a lot of credit for those first few months.
