The lickle fucker was out in Town the night!

Bony's more of a target man, a more complete forward than Cisse is. Apparently we're gonna be in talks with Remy's representatives next week and we favour a loan deal as we don't want to pay the £7 million fee plus his wages are 75k a week. QPR however want rid and don't want a loan deal. Us and West Ham are favorites to sign him. Just been on SSN!

Darren Bent (Poacher master or poached egg?)
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Its a sad state of affairs when Spurs bring in Franco Baldini as their director and we're bringing in Joe fuckin' Kinnear. That shows you how different the owners of both football clubs view the clubs they're running. -
From what I remember of last season, along with Benteke being prolific, he was injured a few times, which also led to him getting fewer appearances. I think he missed about 3 month of the end of last season.
-
Why are we getting excited about signing Bent? He spent most of last season crocked, which isn't what we need when most of our players are always injured anyway. I'm sick of having to settle for second best with this club now because they can't be arsed to pull their finger out and run the club and transfers as it should be.
-
If someone got up with him so he could link play then he might not be over reliant on playing on the shoulder. Too many times he was left isolated last season so it was the only option for him. It's no coincidence either that when he went through his rich vein of form it was with Cabaye playing behind him.
-
It should have been kickstarted already ffs!
-
So what if they do? Youre getting rustled over something so meaningless.

Yes, lets not express our views because the window hasnt ended yet. Let us not vent anger at what is fast becoming another shambles of a summer transfer window of which we have already seen before.

CT sounds like a Mother on the touchline of their sons Sunday League game. "Get it in the box, Shane"

Just give him the Yaya Toure role for fuck sake. Sit him next to Tiote and let him bring the ball out of defence, instead of having Cabaye pump long balls forward from that position. It'll also let him time his runs unmarked, where if he's behind the striker he's easier for a defender to pick up.

Keegan interview on SS2 at the minute, not sure if it's been on before, but just letting yous know! -
I'd like to see him in the Yaya Toure role where he can make his runs from deep. It just seemed that after his first few games that teams came wise to his style of play behind Cisse, and he couldnt get the space or link up play as well as he was.

Allardyce will want to tonk us today. Ben Arfa must start. We need to start concentrating on our own game instead of worrying what the oppsition will do, we did that last year, played to our strengths and let the opposition worry about us, instead of us being fearful of what they can do.

Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Taylor Haidara Tiote Cabaye Marveaux Sissoko Jonas Cisse If everyone is near enough fit I'd like to see us line up like that. It should be enough to run Sunderland ragged through power and technique, but in the derby that could all mean nothing. I'd like to see a bit of fluidity between Sissoko and Cabaye and see them switch positions throughout the game as Cabaye linking play between midfield and attack could make a hell of a difference, and sometimes we lack that link between the two. -

Campbell should have played instead of Mbiwa. Pardew out. -
They more than likely will do, my football betting isnt the best but my gut feelings over ruling my wallet on this one

Just chucked a fiver on Juve to win the thing outright at 14/1! I know it's unlikely but those odds seem mad for a team who's done as well as they have over the past couple seasons. I'll probably regret it come the end of this first leg though
