The air got a canny beating last night, cant remember how many times I punched it after every point he won. Glad for him though, he does get a load of unwarranted stick and this will hopefully shut the ignorant shits up

Not a lover of the demo, just seems too similar to FIFA 12. Gave away two nothing penalties aswell which was annoying and the players didnt seem to have much movement off the ball. Not ower bothered though, the demo always seems a farcry from the finished product

Who is the most underrated player in the PL?

Tim Krul. I bet if you ask a supporter of any other team they would name a few other keepers ahead of him, Doesnt get the exposure he should as he was our best player last year. -

Me and a few mates are going over for a few days and booking up in the next week. We're hoping to get tickets but it'll be nigh on impossible probably, although there'll be plenty chocolate and drink to rid the pain -
Never played a game where I've been so scared in me life. That fuckin building with the corridors puts the shits right up is

Saturday 3 o clock or half 5 are the best like. Not a lover of Sunday kick-offs as I'm a bus wanker and they only run every hour, plus afterwards I get a sulk on knowing theres only a couple hours left of the weekend and I'm back at work

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
He had a canny srious injury that left him out for more than a season and since then has only played a handful of competitive games. Give him a chance man, plus he scored a few important goals for Everton when he was there aswell.- 10610 replies

NUFC summer transfer activity thread
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Baggio's topic in Newcastle Forum
We may not get as close to the top four as we did last season and get a chance like we just have in this transfer window, especially if we dont get Europe this season. So sorry for wanting us to stay competitive and get into Europe and push on, especially as the players we've "bid" for havent came in and were apparently not too far off in getting. It's incompetence not getting a striker in when weve only got 3 available, one of which is injured regularly and a FB when were worrying thin there especially when weve just lost one for months. -

Massive oppurtunity missed, no doubt about it. How we can go into at least a 46+game season with 3 strikers is ridiculous, especially with one who is plays one game and is out for the next 3. Fuck sake. -

Now is the time we should be looking to push on, not stand still. If we don't get Europe next season then there will be no doubt in my mind that we will lose some of our bigger players. Players want trophies, not to be part of a five year building period throughout the best part of their careers ffs! -

Massive oppurtunity lost if we don't strengthen. No way can we go into a season with only 3 senior strikers, one of which hasnt had the best injury record over the past few seasons. The same in regards to CB's aswell Taylor has picked up a serious injury each of the past seasons for as long as I can remember and we can't keep hoping Colo stays fit to babysit Perch and Williamson through games. -
The deadline day 'fake' bid sweepstake
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
I cant wait for hourly updates from David Craig outside the training ground going on about how were trying to force through a deal for Carroll, only for it to get to midnight and him to break the news we couldnt push it through, as per usual. -

Newcastle United v Atromitos Athens

I'd just go with the same team we played last Thursday or maybe have Amalfitano in for Obertan and Shola (if fit) in for Cisse. We controlled the game last week without putting in much effort to go on to win it. Plus we just need to get a result basically, No point risking the big team players when we can do them with our second team -

Boyata's away to FC Twente aswell. Looks like they're preparing for Douglas leaving, whether it be us or Fulham is another question -
The celebrated return to europe
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to I ♥ Daddys Cock's topic in Newcastle Forum
Lack of hardcore fans Its around £500+ to sort out travel and tickets to the game with about 14 days notice and thats for one game. Your lot wont even fork out £400 for 19 games man ffs -
Jonas is probably the most important player in the first team, due to his versatility. If it wasnt for him being in the team then we wouldnt be able to switch so fluently between formations.
-
We have to go 4-3-3, each time we play it we look a lot more comfortable and it gets the best out of the players. It lets us control the game in the middle of the park which we were shocking at doing in the first half against Spurs, but when we switched we played like a different team and players always had an option to pass too

It's Tiote they need more than Cabaye, all their CM's are too similar, if they bought Cabaye nothing would change. They havent got a ball winner to break things up (apart from Fletcher who is out indefintely it seems), only playmakers of such.

Had 2 utter clips sitting next to me. Total charv cockends, shirts off, pilled to the gills and tattooed angel wings on one of their backs. Theyre probs the type to call themselves "mags" tbh
