  1. That is my optimistic view, you dont want to hear my pessimistic/realistic one We're at our lowest ebb in almost 2 decades, and we're still better off than the Mackems who were supposed to push on to the next level this year. We'll always be able to laugh at Sunderland. Agree with that like. Appointing a caretaker as permanent manager after a handful of games when you've supposedly had 30+ applications is comedy gold, hats off to them Tell me that post was a piss take? Deadly serious I was just thinking with us appointing Roeder that was all. Although he was obviously in charge for a bit longer than that extra from The Godfather. A lot longer, with very good results and without many alleged other candidates

  4. 99% chance of it being bollocks but to think not so long ago they had Zidane playing in that position, ouch yer fucker

  6. Deserves so much better, should have several winners medals
  7. Compared with some of the fuckers on N-O, Baggio's tongue isn't that close to Ashley's intestines. Aye, it's grim on there atm That's bizarre, even from the most pro-Ashley stance it's hard to argue that this regime hasn't produced a monumental fuck up largely by it's own doing/arrogance. I wonder what it would take to make Kinnear walk away. An absolute miracle. He's basically being paid a fortune to lick Ashley's arsehole clean.
  8. Don't forget Kinnear's whoppers about the club being nearly sold with Keegan & Shearer coming in
  9. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle5409240.ece “If, like me, you like a gamble now and again,” Ashley wrote in a rare set of programme notes, “then what price a flutter on us reaching that top six?” It is a punt that few supporters – to whom the price of a season ticket is investment enough – are likely to risk. Newcastle are only two points clear of the bottom three but ten behind Everton, who are sixth. Not a lie as such but worth mentioning, what an utter prick :icon_lol:
  10. Yes.... apart from the truck load of wrong decisions that have destabilised the club to the point where a 1-5 thrashing seems like a positive. Eventually Ashley is/was bound to make a decision that doesn't royally screw the club up further. It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who bang on about stability being crucial
  11. Seems that JFK is in charge of transfers, tbh.
  12. No proper manager will accept not being in charge of transfers, only a puppet. We're stuck with him

  14. No player with an ounce of sense will come here for any other reason than silly wages. I can't see us offering them so there you go
  15. Anyone with even an outside chance of being in the squad for the next league game shouldn't be risked. Play a youth team and reimburse fans who've already bought tickets
  16. He is a fucking clown like
  17. Just another example of how shit this league is
