Maybe it's just me, but I agreed with what Ranger said on twitter.

It just says Haidara and Gouffran on SSN. If leaving Sissoko till the summer means we can bring in a striker now, it would make sense. We don't desperately need a CM atm, but without a striker we're one injury away from having Shola starting up front on his own.

As you say, a lot of 'if's' but it does look nice on paper. And Shola is still shit as out 2nd striker, we'd need someone quality to play with or behind Cisse.

That should be the plan. Hopefully going to a 433 with Cabaye, Tiote, Sissoko/Anita in the middle, Gouffran and Marveaux on the wing and then Cisse up the middle.

Definitely. He's a good young player, don't see why people would have anything against us bringing him in. Simpson is probably gone sometime within the next 6 months, so we could be lacking full back depth. If Debuchy gets injured, move Santon over to the right and stick this lad at LB. If Santon gets injured we can just do a straight swap. Perfect! -
In the shit, we are. Lose against Villa and Pardew could be gone because I can't see us getting anything against Chelsea or Spurs.
