Dirk, because if he could become a legend here, and he's alot cheaper which means we can still get another player in
-
if we got Kuijt which i'd be delightd about we'd still need some pace up top as he's very similar too Shearer, obviously got young legs but i wouldnt say hes very pacey

Mmmm lets rescue a PL manager whos facing the sack four games in, sounds like Freddys sort of idea. Jewell wouldn't join us, at least not until the end of the season though he's a manager I like. Mike Newell wouldn't be a bad choice if we couldn't attract anyone with more experience, but then again we'd probably end up with Dave Bassett. 18031 NO, NO.... and did i mention NO

I cant remember reading any statement that said "If we buy Owen then we're not gonna bother getting anyone else". Surely, as has been said before.... a ) getting Owen alone is better than getting nobody. b ) once we have Owen then we'll go after players that can play to his strengths. But then again, maybe Im just not pessimistic enough. 18522 or that you're talking sense

for a while i've been thinking of making a classic Toon on Pro Evo, as when players plyed there trade for the Toon ranging back from the Wor Jackie days to the present day, (put the year in next to them so we can make sure the abilities are spot on for that era) i was wondering it we could get all the players stats at least sorted out until Pro Evo 5 is out then we could chip in and make players appearences (as i know everyone doesn't have Winning Eleven 9 yet)... i'll start the ball rolling is there anyway i could just sort this out as just to have a link for each players ability so the thread doesn't get ooo so messy? Les Ferdinand (1995) His Height is 1.81 m, weights 85kg... just spotted them so i thought i'd keep them ATTACK: 92 DEFENCE: 60 BALANCE: 92 STAMINA: 85 TOP SPEED: 87 ACCELERATION: 88 RESPONSE: 90 AGILITY: 83 DRIBBLE ACCURACY: 80 DRIBBLE SPEED: 84 SHORT PASS ACCURACY: 77 SHORT PASS SPEED: 75 LONG PASS ACCURACY: 76 LONG PASS SPEED: 78 SHOT ACCURACY: 90 SHOT POWER: 96 SHOT TECHNIQUE: 89 FREE-KICK ACCURACY: 77 CURLING: 74 HEADER: 96 JUMP: 98 TECHNIQUE: 84 AGRESSION: 91 MENTALITY: 84 CONSISTENCY: 6 GOAL-KEEPER SKILLS: 50 TEAM-WORK ABILITY: 77 CONDITION/FITNESS: 5 *Special Skills *Reaction *Scoring *1-1 *Long Shooting (new in WE9)

Robert was shite, sorry but apart from free kicks he was a sack of shit. Open play and corners were woeful and never tracked back causing the left full back all kinds of problems. 18023 And he never got the best out of the finest striker of a generation. Oh no, he was too busy being castigated for his shite defensive qualities. Shearers nothintg without Robert - fact. 18301 Robert the finest striker of a generation? Now you really are having a laugh. 18465 i think he meant Shearer was
