You'd have preferred Campbell? Williamson? Pardew's inability as a conjurer is why he should be sacked?
-
Spot on.
-
I find this criticism of Pardews team talks the most bone headed criticism that can be leveled at him. He doesn't tell them to sit back. He doesn't say "Right lads go out and be nervy"...it's the players that do that. Pardew's not made a defensive change in weeks either. He brings on Shola or Ben Arfa or Campbell and that, but still gets this abuse for apparently going defensive. ...his choices are shit off the bench.

Would have took that before the game. Job done.

So it is a knee-jerk
-
No it means the home team are going to come out with a rant in their ear and redouble thir efforts.....like we did against the Mackems on Sunday...the good goal we pulled back was wrongfully ruled out though.
-
Everyone was full of praise first half.
-
We have taken the lead and then drawn 6% of games. We have taken the lead and lost 13% So...dropped points in 19% of games. We have taken the lead and won 26% of games. From a losing position we have won 6% and drawn 10%, so rescued points in 16%.

West Brom have had two thirds of possession Newcastle have had twice as many shots.
-
6 pointers in red. I reckon Villa are down
-

I do I think that's the ethos we had last season and I praised Pardew for it.... This season has never seemed like there's a plan A for a system, so that when someone is injured we slot their backup in. I don't know if it's the volume of injuries or trying to find the best position for the new players in a system, but Pardew just seems to have been battling to get 11 men on the pitch in one formation or another.
-
Pardews Plan A can't be implemented with 3 first teamers injured can it? Our furst team setup has changed weekly for months.

Made for mixing with Around the World like.

Like that. Doesn't get particularly Daft Punky until 2:20 either.

It would have been better if they just got Spotify and rdio to include a twitter recomendations feed based on what's popular among who you follow. I do struggle to find anyone i want to follow on Spotify.
-
I'm not sure yet either. I follow 219 separate artists on Twitter, but there's only 30 recommended artists on the music app that haven't changed all day. I Would have thought I could mark them as "not interested" or something so that they refresh with alternatives. You have to have a spotify premium account to listen to full tracks too...even on your desktop, although Spotify free plays full tracks on the desktop version.

Someone was telling me last week that I went to the cinema with them to watch a few of the live games beamed back. I had no recollection of it whatseover. I should have taken a load more drugs if my memory was going to be this shit anyway.

There's not much I can offer to this thread, but the 1990 play-offs were the first time I actually followed a Newcastle game. I'm a Keegan band-wagoner through and through. in the 80s I used to watch England and the FA cup and that, and I had a soft spot for Liverpool because they were good, but without anyone older to look up to that could guide me to follow Newcastle I was hollow inside. Bereft. I was mates with a Mackem at this time though and he was Sunderland mad, as was his dad. I was round their house and we listened to the SJP leg on radio Newcastle. It is ingrained on my mind as the moment I realised what proper scrots mackems really are....without a hint of Newcastle related bias associated to it whatsoever. It made me queasy to watch the podgy fuckers moan and whine over every single detail of what happened in the game, even while they were winning. I know for a fact I decided this lad wasn't going to be my mate much longer while listening to this game at his house. The dad actually went to the effort of ringing radio Newcastle to complain about the commentary. I couldn't believe a grown adult could be so petty and small minded. Cock. Hated mackems ever since.
