Well miss out the Ecoast (watch the Shipping News if you want to see what its like) go directly to Calgary and watch the Flames and then through the Rockies to Vancouver 37197 My wifes brother emigrated to Nova Scotia a couple of years ago and we're actually flying out for a visit tomorrow. To say theres not a lot there would be an understatement...

Didnt Strachan praise him though in the same sentence? Im not sure but I think the gist of it was he was hard to manage but he was also a pleasure to work with because he is a cracking player.
-
no but I have a monkey on my back
-
you're doing a good enough job yourself Craig To say the opinion "we couldnt have" is nonsense isnt the same as saying we would have which is what you accuse him of saying. He's not saying we would have signed Bellamy. the ridiculous post I was refering to (light heartedly) wasn't your opinion on the signing of Owen it was the one quoted above. whats even more ridiculous is I've even got involved in this
-
You know my opinion better than I do now?? It's not 100% nonesense to me, it's very much sense. I don't think we could have afforded to play Shearer, Bellamy & Owen in the same team from either a financial POV or a footballing one... What would we have done? Played Bellamy on the wing? I can't see Shearer sitting mainly on the bench in his swangsong year particularly when there was the opportunity to re-kindle his partnership with Owen 36343 I said nothing about your opinion Craig, maybe you should read the posts again. I was just pointing out that your attempt to ridicule what someone had said didnt work because he didnt say what you thought he had. I dont see the financial impact of Bellamy. His transfer fee? His wages? I dont think they'd have a beaaring, they dont amount to that much. If we did still have Bellamy wouldnt you say Shearer would have retired last season? If we are to believe his reasons for staying on then yes he would have. Bellamy wouldn't have had to play on the wing then either. If when we next sign a striker we pay in excess of 15 mill and get one of the biggest, provesn strikers in the world then fair enough he will be Shearers replacement and Owen was Bellamy's. I'd say we'd already done that though and spent that money that was put aside to eventually buy Shearers replacement. Craig Bellmay not once refused to play on the wing for us. Fact
-
I think if you read again he said "to say we couldnt have Owen without losing Bellamy is 100% nonsense ". Thats not the same as saying we would have. So not quite the most ridiculous statement , yours beats it for a start and Owen is Shearers replacement not Bellamy's
-
its not splitting hairs at all its the difference between facts and bollocks. I didnt say it makes a difference in how he was ultimately treat or what type of person he is but it is as far as we know not true. Like I said later if you read it ,you dont need to, he'd done enough things that we do know about that, unfortunately as far as Im concerned, justify his exit. If you're OK with people posting hearsay as fact then fair enough Craig has an incredibly small penis , there you go

It is a bit 'pink' like 35856 Full on hom-fest tbh. 35858 jizztastic tbh
-
Graeme Dott. I've cashed in on him now though (just before he started to drop I might add ) and have my considerable funds invested elsewhere - with BIG dividends in mind. 35747 just looked at his graph for the week. Bloody hell

Aye, using speculation to discredit speculation.. getting messy you could have at least corrected my typo alex Gemmill I agree. I think Bellamy had to go for the things he did but thats based on the things I know he did and I dont think he takes 100% blame for the situation. Still doesnt change what happened. Just dont bring up bollocks thats been attributed to him by Souness's mates as fact, you dont need to really
-
we are not being run like a great club. We are being run like an amateur outfit. Its the context for me. A Mackem saying we are a shit club and me saying it when angry at the way we are being run are two completely different things. Bellamy's been strangled in training, see's Souness shite training methods (speculation on my part but not unfounded) and see's players who are worse than him and those that cant even run anymore being picked ahead of him when he's in the form of his career. I can understand him being pissed off and saying such a thing. Of course if someone can tell me that wasnt the context then I'll agree he's a twat ..well we know he is a twat , I mean more of a twat for that comment.. which in itslef could be a complete fabrication
-
those team sthat were below us when we finished 5th are still shit yet we plummet. The quality in the premiership is appalling, says it all about how far we've dropped. I'd agree that as an attacking force we were in decline but I'd say that was tied in to the decline of Shearer, as our fortunes still are. Robson knew that and knew he needed replacing..we all know what happened
-
when did he fake injury twice to get out of playing? The only thing we know he did was to do it once to get out of training to go and see the chairman. Is speculation suddenly becoming fact after the passafge of time? How handy. Tbh the way NUFC is being run and the man they do have in charge I would say we're a shit club with a shit manager. Will someone tell me how we're any different?
-
I'd rather have Bellamy and Owen meself. I'd still have him here. We only have Souness's PR team to go on for half the accusations and after the way Shearer stabbed him in the back (how Bellmay feels) I'd have sent those texts too. Still doesnt change the fact that I found his reaction funny
-
mods, I need a smiley that gives Gemmill the finger well it was 140 to 88 when I wrote that. Trying to catch a falling knife with Mourinho has cost me a few bob. 60% rise overnight is impressive, who's that down to?
-
only cos you managed to spawn getting flintoff before his price went mental. Moral victory for me as Ive manged to turn it round from a minus and last place to 3rd in a week , so there
-
really?
-
he looked right pissed off and was constantly muttering something to himself as he walked off first sign of madness you know
-
They sooner he goes the better, he cant cut it. As much as I would like to suggest Le Guen or Hitzfeld its pointless as its not going to happen. It will be out of the names you've mentioned. Allardyce for me, just the man to drag the coaching side of this club into the present day
-
Cat , Gemmill. Im coming to get you.. now Ive said that guess who's shares will nosedive

its a radical solution but sterilisation is the key. The problem is these fuckers will only breed and breed. How many of these are going to have half a dozen kids by more or less the same number of different women? The bastards are screwed before they are born, what chance do they have. Set a test. If they fail it, or have criminal charges at the age of 15 or whatever sterilise the bastards I had a similar situation meslef Renton though slightly of my own making. I get on the metro at central station and I spy a spare seat ( a spare seat at rush hour should have set the alarm bells going). So anyways I sit down and next to me and opposite are two charvers with a 24 pack of Carling and they are shouting this charver mc'ing crap at each other " c c c cmon!!". Ive got my back to the one next to me and he leans right up to me and starts saying something, and pulling faces an inch from my head thinking he's clever (i had my headphones on) but the idiot doesnt realise I can see him in the reflection of the window. I turn round and say what was that and the lad jumps up. So i stand up and Im literally a foot taller and probably outweight the kid by about 5 stone. I told him to sit down and shut up to which I got the obvious reply of who the fuck are you etc etc. Anyway him and his mate jump up and bugger off to the other end of the carriage where they then start shouting how they are going to kill me and how I should get of at Gateshead. Not very mature of me but I said if they wanted to start lets go, which of course never happened. They then start shouting how Ive bottled it yet I point out Im the one still sat in the seat while they're at the other end of the train but they didnt get it. The annoying thing about the whole situation was as soon as these kids got off that everyone else around started saying I should have punched them and how they're a disgrace etc but not one person said a word while it was going on. Theres a lot more decent people on the trains than there is these little shits, people just have to stick together and stand up.

been thinking about this and theres tonnes of possibilities, the pointer part of the controller senses all movement in 3d space Lightgun games without the need for to buy a light gun driving games where you can actualy steer with the controller, use the stick for acceleration Imagine resident evil where you use the stick to move and the pointer controls your torch/gun or playing as Link or say a Star wars character where the pointer is used to control your sword/lightsaber (with your own sound effects of course) use two pointers to detect both hands movement for a fighting game such as Super Punch Out golf , tennis , baseball, fishing .. you might look a tit but it will be fun the analogue stick part of the controller just plugs into the pointer so you if the game needs a specific control type you could just package a custom part that plugs in.

http://www.edge-online.co.uk/archives/2005...endo_starts.php Described as a 'movement capture device', the Revolution controller's uncanny similarity to a remote control is intentional - but Nintendo's packed some surprises in as well. The simple handheld device has the trademark Nintendo D-pad, a large friendly 'A' button, a 'B' trigger on its underside, plus power, start, select and 'home' buttons, and smaller 'a' and 'b' buttons. Confused about the lack of analogue stick? Don't be. The main control houses a tilt sensor that senses up, down, left, right, forwards and backwards movements. In short, it's a 3D pointer - the Revolution itself can tell where the slimline device is pointing, which is essentially like a computer mouse, but operating in 3D space. Plus, an extra peripheral (which may or may not come bundled with the final machine - Nintendo has yet to decide) plugs into an expansion port at the bottom of the controller. This device, which Miyamoto refers to as "the nunchuck", adds a corded GameCube-like analogue stick (with two extra triggers) to the set up held in the player's right or left hand. Yes, crucially, this is the first truly ambidextrous console controller. And this new, precise control system could well be the first time that mouse and keyboard-style precision is brought to console gaming by a native controller. sounds like it would be great for FPS but anything else I dont know???
