The man admitted what he said, didn't he? A panel found him guilty. An appeals panel will probably do the same (but reduce his ban). If he's found guilty by two seperate parties (original FA panel, and appeals panel), what will the people who support I can't stand the way some people are making him out to be this poor victim who was simply misunderstood. Reina said he was being "crucified" which is a joke. I've disliked him and valued him lowly as a person since seeing him bite an opposition player. What kind of a man bites someone?

Not seen their game on any format, but apparently Suarez was doing his usual diving/waving imaginary card thing tonight as usual.

Sammy hasn't had many chances either to be honest. Mostly comes on as a sub with 10 minutes or so to play. No time to show what he's about. Like I said in another thread, I imagine Tiote's poor performance today was in part down to not being fully fit. I'm not panicking about him yet. Gutted that Vuckic didn't hit the back of the net with that shot, but his performance was a positive and will have added to his confidence.

Tiote clearly isn't match-fit, to be fair to him. He was out for longer than people might have thought he was.

I thought - aside from one great bit of skill - that Best was woeful. Maybe the service to him didn't help but his positioning was all over the place and he was far too anonymous.

We've been adequate going forward, so I'm not sure what your point is. Yeah without Ba we're in trouble, but we currently have Ba playing so it's a moot point.

Just to top everyone's night off - Sunderland have scored a probable winner in the 90th minute.

I didn't think we'd miss Steven Taylor this badly, although Coloccini deserves a lot of the blame. 4/10 for both CBs, both cost us in particular. Going forward we're fine. That's not a problem. Swansea was just one of those days but with better defending we'd have gotten points off Norwich and West Brom. Teams we perhaps should be beating. I'm writing us off till we get some defenders in. Can't wait till Bolton as at least we'll see Williamson back. Perch can't play again as far as I'm concerned. Give Kadar a chance if you need to, just don't play Perch.

We're fine going forward. A combination of woeful defending and not much luck is costing us. January can't come soon enough.
