It's worth pointing that out that we're on this run/in this form with the same team being utilised in every match. People complain about depth, and they're right to but let's not forget that we've got the likes of Sammy Ameobi, Vuckic, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Abeid, Ferguson, Santon etc on the bench. That excites me.

Doing the team a massive disservice there if you ask me. We're there on merit, with a little bit of luck. You're one with an agenda and sometimes it shows.

Although thinking about it, the keeper situation does worry me a little. What if Krul gets injured? Can we rely on Harper to step up then? How much of a risk is Elliot - I know he's not got rave reviews in the reserve and first team matches he played in.

Krul is well on his way to becoming a truly special player. My biggest worry by quite some distance is whether we can keep hold of him. He isn't perfect but he's steadily improving - still needs to be a bit less hesitant.

In for Simpson or Taylor? I'd like Ferguson to bulk up a bit and replace Taylor, with Santon in for Simpson.

Bang on. I hope I'm just over-analysing and being too negative/pessimistic. But most of all I hope we learn from that. We can't afford to be complacent. 2 weeks now for Pardew to drill that into the players. Plenty of time to analyse the negatives.

Don't agree with your second line there, if we're 2-0 up again there's no point risking Santon. Defensive subs are only for extreme cases if you ask me (injuries or truly awful performances).

I just felt we were too complacent. Hopefully we'll not be so complacent in future now after that. Bit of a reality check. Would like Pardew to say something along those lines to the media and players. Perhaps he should have put subs on earlier.

One of the least pleasing wins I've experienced tbh. Just beyond me how we let them into it like that. Wolves' attitude was spot on.

Absolutely shocking second half. What were we playing at? How Wolves didn't get a point out of that is beyond me. Really worrying performance. Yes they were really going for it, to be fair... but we invited the pressure. Can't complain about the win but it's a sour feeling one.
