Can't stop looking at the premiership league table
Monroe Transfer replied to Flair's topic in Newcastle Forum
You're coveniantly ignoring the pen Wolves shouldve had and the apparently good goal they had chalked off. If we're as open v Spurs they'll more than likely rip us a new one. Not that i'm not chuffed as nuts with results. Today was great. But chill the fuck oot man. We're at best a work in progress. Work that will be undone when the foundations collapse as soon as offers come in for Tiote, Cabaye, Collo, Krul etc. change the fucking record also correct. Unfortunately. Change your long range specs. How is it? I don't think we're as much of a selling club as some people like to believe we are. Like, at all. Carroll and Milner were the only ones that were sold for the £££ and nothing else. edit; you're not sober by any chance are you? -
He's showing a willingness to set up goal-scoring opportunities. He's quite unselfish which isn't always a good thing. Finishing is a bit inconsistent. In all honesty - I am convinced. I really do rate him. I'd be totally satisfied if it was him, Ba, a top striker, and a youth striker like Sammy Ameobi or Airey or whoever. As it is I'm actually comfortable enough with just Ba and Ameobi given how things have gone so far. My worries concern injuries and the ACN.

Is Krul one of the best keepers in the league?

he's the best keeper they have had since Seaman. Easily. Hardly a lot of competition, to be fair. Lehmann was decent. -
I've not seen Best play for Ireland so for all I know he doesn't do enough when playing for them. However you're spot on, he's not been watching our matches because if he did he wouldn't be saying such things. He's been creating chances and scoring goals. There isn't an Irish striker in better form really. No idea what Keane is up to (says it all really) and Long hasn't done much.

Only seen him once on telly this season (League Cup, Forest?) and he struck me as quite slow. Is that fair? Scunthorpe, and I wouldn't say slow, no. Just not a pacey player.

It'll be a sad day when it happens.

Unbelievable. They've pulled the article now.
-
Oh it gets better - they've faked some quotes in that article. Hilariously awful journalism.

Fucking class. The Daily Fail do it again. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-20...o=feeds-newsxml edit; Barney beat me to it

Oh the grounds of? They want justice, yes. But the evidence has proved it wasn't Knox who did it. There wasn't a single trace of her DNA in the room. Besides, the person who admitted carrying out the crime is already locked up for it. Not sure exactly but I'm pretty sure I've read on more than one occasion that the prosecutors will immediately begin proceedings if it's overturned. Aye the prosecutors will, that's the Italian equivalent of the CPS though - not the Kerchers. Italian prosecutors have a history of refusing to let go of a trial despite mounting evidence against their beliefs. The trial into the death of Ayrton Senna is evidence of that one - 3 times they tried to have Williams, the circuit and the FIA done for manslaughter. Ah fair enough, my mistake.

Still 1 in prison for it, so it's not as if they have no idea who did the deed. If they are innocent - which appears to be the case, then it's obviously fantastic that they've been freed. Can't imagine their emotions. Still got to deal with the aforementioned appeal of the appeal as it were so it's not over for them yet.
-
The Kerchers will immediately appeal this so it's not over yet.

You think the money is going on 'upkeep'? Come on now...

Is Krul one of the best keepers in the league?

I never said anything about him wanting to or having any reason to leave. -
Adel Taarabt during the second half of the Fulham - QPR match. Apparently he'd stopped by a local for a pint first after being subbed at half-time before heading to the above bus stop.
-
I'm worried this will have a negative effect (i.e. him leaving) with regards to Bruce.

Cech has never been the same since his head injury, which is more than understandable to be fair to him. -
Shame Llambias didn't join in.

Heard about some stalker in Newcastle airport spying on NUFC players sitting in Greggs enjoying a nice sandwich.

Well, he lived there for six years. Kind of my point. His English language accent is very Scottish, obviously because he learned the language whilst playing for Rangers.
