  1. Really wish people would stop with the hyperbole.
  2. In fairness, nearly all the replies are calling him an idiot. I know. The majority on RTG are level-headed, fairly intelligent people. Most agree that we're in a better place. A very vocal minority are worth quoting and laughing at however.
  3. Could actually do with them getting the odd point - if they don't Agent Bruce will be out of a job soon enough and they'll replace him with someone better like O'Neill.
  4. Heh I went to that Grimsby game too. 2007? The worst toilets you will ever come across. I was in the away end and everyone was standing so it felt a bit uncomfortable having all these Town fans jumping around me given I was a neutral.
  5. If you can get away with spending all of it on non-essentials, fair enough. I don't know, I guess I was less privileged/lived away from home so had to spend a fair bit of it on essentials. Any left over+any savings I had however did indeed go on alcohol, drugs, games and I even wasted some of it on going to watch Lincoln City. I don't recall going on internet forums bragging about it mind. And I think my darkest hour was buying Tesco value pot noodles, I wouldn't even wish that on Kevin. How much of a shithole is Sincil Bank by the way? The away end is a death I wouldn't wish on tesco value pot noodles It wasn't that bad really - I've been to Boston United's ground, now that is bad. Sincil Bank was great because it's in such close proximity to the city, I lived right near it so had no excuses not to catch a few games. Shame they're not a league side at the moment because it was occasionally good entertainment.

  7. Guy scores a header... from inside his own half. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/video/2...lf-record-video
  8. Just me who actually used a lot of my student loan on rent, books and fees etc?
  9. I didn't think Simpson was that bad tbh. Not great, mind.
  10. We need to go back to the 80s where we had the likes of Piquet Snr acting like a complete and utter c*nt tbh. Because he couldn't beat Mansell on the track, Nelson simply became disparaging about his wife and kids. Can you imagine Hamilton's reaction if Alonso branded Nicole a whore? I think Massa might be on the verge, one more dodgy move by Hamilton...
  11. Still not sure if I really want to get it day one. Nothing wrong with 11 and I'm not sure if I'll get over not being used to tactical defending.
  12. Both players like to cut inside of just putting a cross in; either that or they pass it sideways/behind. So in that sense the manager is partly to blame. It's not so much a case of "no end product", rather it is "not enough attempts at an end product".
  13. I've always wondered if there's much genuine dislike or disdain for each other amongst the drivers. There's always been this image of solidarity, like they all get on well with each other. F1 is such a sponsor-heavy sport that I guess portraying yourselves as as friendly as possible has to be expected.
  14. That was correct for the Blackburn match but Williamson will be back soon enough I imagine and we've also got the likes of Abeid and Gosling as well as Guthrie. What I want to know is what's happened to Kadar.
  15. Decent race, quality entertainment after too courtesy of Massa. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/15053045.stm
  16. Shame because Villa are just awful. No idea how they're still unbeaten.
