It's really not hard. A few black and white stripes, no stupid collars or capes, decent logo placement and most of all no empty patch on the back. Most mock-ups have been decent but I doubt Puma won't let us down.

Newcastle want director of football

Did the OP actually ever reveal the source of the quoted article? -
Just to reiterate, they're mock-ups someone made and uploaded to Footballshirtculture. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/fantas...-puma-6267.html

Need more than £15m tbh. I don't know who Hughton wants to sell, and if he does, only a few would bring in any serious money. With departures we'll probably have around £20m max, which is still a risky number for a newly promoted side with doubts over many player's abilities in the top league.

Again, I think it's more a case of people being "euphoric" that they've now got something to smile about given what happened this time last year. We went so low don't forget, and many of us thought we'd go lower. I'm beyond relieved that for the time being at least, that's certainly not been the case. I don't think winning the league alone is what people are so pleased about - it's about what it represents. I'd like to think we've turned the corner somewhat - but with a long way to go yet to truly be over the club's prior disaster in getting relegated in the first place and all that accompanied that. I'll always take pride in the club and being a Toon fan and this season only encourages that emotion in me.

There's a few clips of us with it during this interview with Hughton. http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26...6113999,00.html

So basically, we shouldn't have bothered lifting the trophy up? And a few drinks after? That's about as far as the public celebrations are going to go. We're not having a bus parade or anything. After last season we deserve a bit of happiness. I think outpourings of emotion such as the pitch invasion on Monday are not so much just because we won a league but because we went so low and now have a reason to be proud of our club again.

Is that the closest we'll get to seeing Ryan Taylor smile?

Was only on for about 45 seconds to a minute.

I wouldn't judge the team too much on today's performance. Don't think we've been all there concentration-wise.in the last couple of weeks, still good enough to not lose.

Fuck's sake.

I love this league. No doubt we'll lose our first home match back in the Prem.

I've seen those before. Definitely mock-ups, old ones at that. Don't take anything NUFC Blog says seriously.

GET IN SHOLA

Given up on it, managed to get audio back mind after a couple of PC resets. Would be nice if SSN went to SJP for a couple of minutes for the trophy lifting.

What happened to Steven Taylor being on the bench by the way? Couldn't get the radio stream to work in the first place you see, even in another browser. I think that site simply doesn't like me.

I did, and still nothing. Ah well.

Channel 1. Just visual, not audio as far as I can tell.

This video *small river* is near unwatchable unfortunately.

It's not that bad, someone's just electrocuted the mannequin.

Just got back. Superb evening. I was actually in one of the Argyle stands as I went with a Plymouth fan who I long ago agreed to go with, well before the significance of the match was made apparent. Was torturous trying to keep my emotions to myself. Was on the pitch at the end and I've not been amongst such a happy set of our lot in a long time. There were several Argyle fans on the pitch too and they were very decent people - some went of their way to congratulate us. And vice versa. When the only negative I can really speak of concerning the Argyle fans was the typical one or two shouting "break his legs" whenever Barton was near, that says a lot. They weren't the loudest, as was to be expected, but a fair amount of them kept singing till the end. We wound them up a bit with the usual "your support is fucking shit" type chant, but I think they appreciated us, what we've achieved and how delighted we were. We were celebrating purely because of our own success - there was nothing spiteful or negative against them. They were decent towards in almost every aspect, from the programme (bit surprised to read it and see Leon Best as their choice of our players as "one to watch", mind) to the music. Lovely club, great night. Could still hear Toon Toon and "Ole ole ole" from my hotel when I went to sleep.

Yes. What's your point?

That mock-up on the previous page is more or less perfect. Seriously, it's not hard to get right. A few black and white stripes, no stupid collars, or fancy designs (none of that cape nonsense Puma shirts have had this season).
