There's something in the Telegraph of an alleged 2nd bid i'd take that with a grain of salt. It's probably Ashley tryingit on with Amanda "Tell them there's been a 2nd bit etc" I'm more concerned about this in the presser yesterday. He also suggested there is no guarantee he will be given money to spend in January if a takeover does not go through.

I'm not confident about this one, Watford seem to be doing ok in the league 4 points ahead of us. We're on a run of 3 defeats having said that if we can play for 90 minutes like we played the first 30 against Man Utd we should be ok. It'll be close 2-1 either way.

They probably know less than we do but Chronicle saying Stavely will make a revised offer of a £300 million one off payment with no clauses. However they are also saying Ashley has revised the amount he wants to £350 if these figures are true we've no way of knowing. It looks like both sides are still pretty far apart

If that article's right its roughly what Stavely is believed to have offered then i can only see her improving up to £300 million. That would still be some way short of Ashleys cut price valuation from £400 million to £380 million. This has got disaster written all over it.
