Well you've got to hand it too Rafa he's a tactical genius. My heart sank when I saw he had Gouff up top . Then they got their penalty & I thought here we go. I was dissapointed that the same 11 came out at half time I though Rafa would have given Mitro a go instead of Gouff. At the hour mark I was like everyone else shouting at the telly for him to bring someone on but he held his nerve. By 70 minutes I thought he'd blown it then he took Colback off for Murphy who almost scored with his first touch. We then got the comedy goal but fuck it by now we definitely deserved it then those last few minutes & we scored the deserved winner. It was a good team performance & tactical genius by Rafa. If we beat 'uddersfield on Saturday we will be 11 points clear of them, even with their game in hand that should be enough to see us get an automatic place & breath a little easier.

I felt certain we'd see Mitrovic or Murphy starting, flaming Gouffran.

Does anyone know we're we can get a mortar Board & Gown in Town for my daughter whose due to graduate in June/July it only seems like 5 minutes since I was saying how proud I was that she'd started the course to be an Early Years teacher & here we are 3 years on she's just handed in her 10,000 word dissertation I'm one proud dad. I've had my orders I'm not allowed to were my toon top on graduation day apparently even the brown ale ones unacceptable any ideas about the gown & hat please.

I must admit Brighton looked very good the other night against Reading they seemed full of confidence & deserved their 3-0 win. It'll be a tough test this one I just hope we're up for it not like the first half against Bristol

Guess I'm just being a "big girls blouse" but honestly the thought of the play offs. Ive never agreed with them also the chance that we could miss out on promotion & being stuck down here would be bloody awful. I remember at the beginning of the season & people saying we'd piss the league ok were 2nd 5 points clear of the play offs but we're hardly pissing it.

We've gone off the boil these last few games we never look comfortable even when winning. All very exciting & that, but I disagree that you can be happy about today's result as I type this we are now 2nd as Brighton are 2-0 up look very confident in fact it wouldn't surprise me if they score another couple. They look the total opposite of us when we went 2-0 up against Villa. I just hope the likes of the QPR & Norwich games don't come back to haunt us we scored in the 1st minute of both games & drew both games 2-2. When you'd have expected us to take all the points. I still think if we play like we did today especially the first half over the next 3 games they'll hurt us. I hope I'm wrong because as I've said I don't agree or fancy our chances in the play offs.

It's definitely 2pts lost like we were at home to the 21st in the league & we struggled to draw. Luckily 'uddersfield drew so that takes the pressure off a bit. But we can't afford to give the opposition the good grace of a 2 goal start & expect to get anything from the game. If we play like this in these next 3 games we'll be hurt badly.

2 points dropped today a very poor first half a better second half but I thought this was one of the 5 in 15 days we would have won.
