  1. The UK has reported a record 183,037 new COVID cases in the latest daily figures. The number includes five days of infection data from Northern Ireland due to a lag in reporting over Christmas. But NYE is still on in England
  2. Absolute helmets the lot of them. Hopefully the police will round them up & they'll be sent to the clink
  3. Theres absolutely no way these figures for new infections theyre churning out now can be anywhere near right if there's no tests available
  4. This from Sky News an hour ago chances are the new infections are double what they're officially declaring The gov.uk website shows no available slots for walk-through or drive-through tests across all regions of England and Northern Ireland, with "very few" available in Scotland.
  5. Newcastle reject Alli opportunity Newcastle United have rejected the chance to sign Tottenham forward Dele Alli, reports Football Insider. Itโ€™s claimed the Magpies were offered the opportunity to sign the 25-year-old in January, with Spurs willing to help Alli secure more regular game-time. But Eddie Howe has no intention of bringing Alli to St. Jamesโ€™ Park, with the Newcastle bossโ€™ focus on strengthening other areas of his squad.
  6. Rumours that England will have no further restrictions just some guidance. Johnson leaving the public to it rather than do anything to jeopardise his job
  7. Nightclubs in Northern Ireland will close from Boxing Day as part of new COVID measures. Bastard Johnson's turn tomorrow now that Scotland, Wales & Ireland have decided what they're doing
  8. Wales A maximum of six people will be allowed to meet in pubs, cinemas and restaurants in Wales from 26 December, the first minister has announced. And two metres social distancing rules are to return in public places, Mark Drakeford said. Licensed premises will have to offer table service only, face masks will have to be worn and contact tracing details collected. Outdoor events will be limited to 50, with 30 indoors. Advice has been given to limit household mixing and use lateral flow tests beforehand, with a specific offence for having gatherings of more than 30 people.
  9. Usually within 24 hours but can take up to 5 days
  10. Nice to see Johnson leading from the rear as usual
  11. New restrictions on large-scale events from Boxing Day Ms Sturgeon says that restrictions have not been take lightly From 26 December for three weeks, limits on public events in Scotland will be put in place: 100 standing at indoor events 200 seated at indoor events 500 at outdoor seated and standing events Ms Sturgeon says this will include sporting events and "large-scale" Hogmanay celebrations - including Edinburgh's street party - but not events like weddings. It means that sporting stadia will be empty from Boxing Day onwards, with games being played behind closed doors. The first minister says that non-professional contact sports should not go ahead until the end of the first weekend of January. Indoor hospitality will be moved to table service only, with social distancing implemented. No more than three households will be allowed to gather. There will be financial help, Ms Sturgeon says, for those industries impacted - with ยฃ175 million extra allocated to business support in Scotland - bringing the total to ยฃ375 million.

  14. Welsh sporting events to take place behind closed doors from Boxing Day
  15. Aye he's an absolute shithouse. I watched a program called Help starring Stephen Graham a couple of weeks ago. Its about what happened in care homes during the 1st Lockdown. It was fucking awful the way people were left to it
  16. By delaying this, he's going to have to go for a full Lockdown rather than going early & tightening restrictions.
  17. Unbelievably selfish & cowardly the bastard
  18. Breaking News Boris Johnson statement expected soon We are expecting to hear from Prime Minister Boris Johnson soon. He has been in a meeting with his cabinet discussing COVID-19, which lasted for around two hours.
  19. Premier League clubs have chosen to fulfil festive fixtures despite ongoing disruption caused by Covid-19 cases. It had been expected that gameweek 20, starting on 28 December, would be postponed in order to ease the pressure on Premier League squads. Instead, clubs have been advised if they have 13 fit players, plus a goalkeeper, they should fulfil their games.
  20. 91,743 new cases & it seems like they want to wait until the 28th before doing anything. I dread to think what the numbers will be in 8 days time.
  21. Shitting himself to make a decision. Just keep an eye out for what Wales & Scotland are going to do. The dozy cunt will just follow their lead
  22. Will there be wine & cheese ?
  23. So Johnson didn't even bother to attend another COBRA meeting yesterday. The virus is raging through the country & he couldn't be arsed t turn up.
