    I admire the optimism but how many more games can we afford to lose 2 or even 3 points ?

    Another 2 points down the drain we just don't seem to have that killer instinct I predicted a 2-2 draw as I felt sure we'd score today. Yes their keeper had a great game but we should still have put some of those chances away. Yet again we'll be told we are progressing & we are improving which is all very well but the table tells a different story

    From McClarens press conference "Vernon has done very well this season. At some stages we have needed a more attacking midfield player there and he has been sacrificed for that. In every game he has been great for us and he has been disciplined. He knows the job and does the job. He is a tough character and that is something, without Jack, we will need in the up and coming games"

I am certain that if it hadnt been for Colos sending off, we would have delivered you that victory Even if you didnt see the game on Sunday, youll know that we bossed it in the first half and hardly gave our hosts a kick. In spite of the result, training this week has been nothing but positive and preparation has been first class. Theres been no feeling sorry for ourselves. Just a group of players and staff who want to show you how passionately we care about your club. Well put all of the positives and the passion into delivering you three points on Saturday.     We're in a worse position than last season yet there's still no alarm bells going off.... P-10-13pts - 12th position 2014/15 P-10- 6pts - 19th position 2015/16 There should be cause for concern as we have less than half the points than we had at this stage last year. I understand people saying we're playing better football than when we were under Pardew/Carver but we're not doing it for a full game. Our next 4 games are Stoke City (h) Bournemouth (a) Leicester (h) Crystal Palace (a) I've only got us down for a couple of draws against Stoke & Bournemouth out of these games especially if we only turn up for 45 minutes. As I said in a previous thread "the writings on the wall some will understand before others do" McClaren wanted to be "judged after 10 games" we'll he's had them. 10 games 6 Pts 19th position not very clever is it Steve ?

    Red card reminded great news but now the club have been charged with failing to control the players after the refs decision. But I'm just wondering why there's been no action taken against Sunderland because I'm nearly certain some of the inbreds were on the edge of the pitch when their 3rd went in.

    The penalty was Coloccini 's fault he's been playing long enough to know if you do that in the box 9 times out of 10 they'll be given. Having said that Cattermole got away with murder all afternoon he's a dirty player. But they were there for the taking even when we were down to 10 men we had the fire power to out gun them.

    Again it's so important that we're at them from the start we have the fire power to beat them but we must tighten up the defence and track back . Hopefully we'll finish the game with 11 men as they'll definitely be out to wind up Mitrovic

    Onwards & upwards it wasn't until the 6th went in everyone could breath a sigh of relief, we must tighten up our man marking at the back. Btw what a miserable twat McClaren is couldn't even muster a smile in the interview.
