With the squad how it is and our current league position I wouldn't be that bothered if we sent a young team out and didn't progress.

With how Lille were in the summer I wouldn't read much into the reports until a pic of him is on .co.uk with a shirt on.

You feel all the times we've been here before and the club have stood their ground over wages it's been ok because they were average/decent players. I just feel with Ba he is worth paying that 80k a week or whatever he wants, saying that it could be the fact his "representatives" are making things difficult and it's not about money but they want their big cut of £.

Got draw written all over this. Our record against them at home is pretty darn good though...lost two I think in the last 20 or so. -
I like Pardew's comments today in the media, praising the player but criticising the agents. Personally I think he plays the media well. I think it's a given Demba won't sign a new deal with us, can't see him going to QPR but more than likely abroad.

We've been so unfortunate with injuries as well. I do believe we have looked good the last three games but just unlucky, if someone said to me you'll go to Old Trafford and The Emirites and score three goals respectively I'd of been rubbing my hands together. Hopefully two or three additions in January and we can really start to push on and move away from the bottom half of the table, hopefully a CB and a RB.

It was always going to be tough yesterday. I thought in the first half we played great and looked the better side. Lets not forget its was a hard fought game on Boxing Day while Arsenal were resting.

I have to admit I enjoyed the black ops 2 campaign. Previous few have been awful though. Battlefield 3 is good if you want a realistic campaign.

After the performance against Man City I fancy us to win this today. We played well last week and looked dangerous at times and against a side of less quality we would of won. Hopefully Cisse can start banging a few away. 3-1
