  1. We're selling players for more than we're signing them for man It's not ambition it's a no brainer. Their ambition is to make a profit on them. Christ.
  2. Remember when Liverpool signed Gary Mcallister at 35 and won a treble? Imagine if they'd got him at 29. Zlatan is 32, PSG should swap him for Sammy because he's younger.
  3. That effects his sell on value, not his ability. He's just coming into his prime. He's going to play his best couple of years at a different club. Good 'business' though. ££££
  4. He said he missed the Champions League. What's to say if we'd signed players in the last two windows and addressed gaps in our squad that he might not have been more optimistic about achieving his goals here? The club how shown, as well as openly admitted, that it isn't ambitious. If there is a way of keeping players with these kinds of ambitions, NUFC has shown us the exact opposite really, hasn't it?
  5. I was more referring to the club having ambitions that match the players. If he was in two minds, coming out and saying that we're not interested in winning things probably swayed him. Not signing anybody for a year and a half and those quotes should have left nobdy in any kind doubt about what kind of club they're at. How we're still managing to sign anybody of any quality at all baffles.
  6. Where did I say we could? Are you suggesting they're making strides to address these kinds of desires long term? Because I can dig out some quotes from a fans forum meeting that will tell you otherwise, friend!
  7. We can, but won't is more accurate. And that's why I'm not lending them my enthusiasm on these deals. The cunts.
  8. That's the club's attitude. My answer would be to address the reasons they want to leave. Assure and prove to them that we can match their ambitions etc. Do that by spending the money we generate.
  9. Pards described De Jong as a striker, so we must have our Cabaye replacement to look forward to still
  10. I personally think people are so used to us selling our best players and not replacing them that they're now heaping unwarranted praise on the club for signing any player. Remember when we were underwhelmed when Coloccini was our marquee signing?
  11. Sorry. We've sold our 29 year old to them top 4 mugs and got a better, younger player for half price. Prepare to trade league positions, arsenal!
  12. One of them kept us up last season I'd say, because our form without him was disgusting.
  13. I'm going off his suitability to be a central midfielder in the Premier League. I don't know if that's where he'll play. It'll be either him or De Jong, neither are as good as Cabaye in that role though.
  14. He's an established right back and one of our best performers, if he was better then Wenger would probably just sign him instead.
  15. Of course it's relevant to how I feel about Cabella. I can't get excited about a team without any forwards. What's to get excited about? He's worse than Cabaye, so we're worse off. If he improves and proves to be as good as or better than Cabaye, he'll be sold and replaced with a worse player. Happy days.

I bought a high loft driver and I'm getting more consistently straightish all the time, but my distances aren't up to much! I went to the driving range and was terrible with my 3 and 5 woods, the heads are so small compared to the driver so harder to hit. I haven't used them since, I'll have to try again.

Hit a drive onto the green last week, the club CT told me not to touch!
  18. I'll take any negativity accusations on the chin. What the fuck are we playing at? There's NUFC fans wanking up a frenzy after Cabella saying get this Riviere lad signed. Why? He's got an absolutely gash record in the French league and haven't got a single senior striker(excluding Cisse on the basis of both injury and form). I'd rather we didn't sign him.
  19. I haven't read anything they've published since they decided their journalism was of the quality that warranted a pay wall. Still find this sickening though!
  20. You'd think the 'senior' striker would be bought first, were one forthcoming, and then a player would be bought to compliment his style of play.
  21. All over Twitter that they're the 'preferred media partner'. Meaning we can look forward to this kind of thing Does this mean boycott?
  22. Bringing a striker in and bringing a proven striker in are two different entities, and I don't think we will. If people on here do then that's fine, I hope we do too. I'll try not to turn into Leazes when we don't
